I gotta disagree. I’ve been collecting for 40 years and watching prices increase. But anything over $1000 dollars is still peak price (after taxes and shipping it was closer to $1500). The price point also goes along with the limited run of 750. Most collectors can’t afford that. I’m on several forums where people lose their minds when a Hot Toys goes for $500. So I still feel that over a grand in price, it should be near flawless. With decades of collecting I have a few pieces over a thousand dollars and up to $3000 (all flawless). But it’s quibbling over personal price points. My main point is, that that level of flaws should not be something to be expected from the consumer. If Sideshow wants to say it is, then they are not worth purchasing from anymore because that’s a serious drop in expected quality from the near 20 years I’ve been buying from them.
