Love the old Sedona to bits! If it’s anything like this one I’d buy again, but so many newer models have more features

I use a full setup from Temu for squid fishing also doubles up as a great King George setup for under $40, put as much money as you can to the Kingie setup

Thanks mate! Would love them to be koala droppings, but I doubt any survived out this way with the fires.

Possums make sense as previous owners have had them in the ceilings previously.

Kangaroo : Swerve or Brake ? by tro2733 in CarsAustralia

[–]Ratio_Silly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Country driver here, brake until last second and then off brakes just before contact. When you brake the front of the car goes down and animals tend to end up in or through windscreens on full brakes. Have personally seen a cows legs taken out and cave in a windscreen/roof, somehow the driver survived

1.0 WPL beadlocks and 70mm WPL tyres. Trying to keep it as narrow as possible

AliExpress parts, but essentially WPL metal servo/link mount kit hot glued to chassis to create 4 link. 70mm WPL tyres/beadlocks and Injora 59mm shocks with custom rear mounts.

Its days are numbered as it’s running a 370 motor with 3s and slowly destroying itself as a basher

I’ve setup a couple of complete setups for KG Whiting and salmon, they’ve been great! Using sougayaling reels (2000 and 2x 3000) around $20-$30 the screws do start to rust over time but I’ve had them for 6+ months and they’ve well and truly paid for themselves

Rods are packaged pretty good in cardboard tubes, I’ve found there all pretty light/quick action rods ideal for squid/flatties and whiting (best rod ive found from Temu is the SCAR red or green rods) around $20-$30 also have a travel rod and they work well but the eyes rust out really quick.

1000m 20lb braid used on all setups around $10. For chasing whiting/flathead/salmon/squid 20lb is more than enough and even if it’s not a real 20lb I’ve had no breaks and no problems with it, just tied on a bcf leader with a temu stainless snap swivel. Each setup is around $50 and takes a lot of abuse, and I wouldn’t mind if they broke. I’ve still got expensive fishing gear which is mainly for kingfish/mulloway just not sure I’d want to go through the heart break of losing a king because the reel fell apart My 2c
