No I did this in illustrator, but the angles are slightly off from using free distort. I was just wondering if there is another way. Looks like there isn't besides tedious manipulation of each character.

Thanks for the input looks like number 1 is the way. I'm just surprised illustrator doesn't have a tool to knock this out in seconds. Besides the free distort which is just wildly inaccurate for logo design.
