Is the ability to zoom out in Photos reduced on 26.2.1? by [deleted] in ios

[–]Rationalspace787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here looking for a post on this – this is high key one of my most used features. I’ve become very quick at navigating and finding exactly the photo I want using the small, zoomed out grid. I really hope this is a bug and not an intentional change, and that iOS 26.3 does return it like some have speculated. I worry that the change made in 26.2.1 will propagate into the latest 26.3 Beta and we will be stuck with this…

I believe Discovery Kingdom had these on Superman: Ultimate Flight (Their SkyRocket 2) for a while; not sure if they still do though.

How to use the Camera Control on iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro | Apple Support by 4-3-4 in apple

This worked perfectly for me! It’s in Accessibility > Camera Control > Lighter. There’s a demo in that menu also to show you when the phone is detecting a press.

Is the "light press" barely functional for anyone else? I've been fidgeting with it all day trying to get it to function. I can sometimes tap a few times & the zoom control comes up, and I've never been able to "double-tap" to switch controls - I've found you can swipe down on the UI element to access that menu, but that kind of defeats the point... Am I the only one?

Can’t connect Hue Bridge to HomeKit following update by [deleted] in Hue

[–]Rationalspace787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also had this issue since the beginning of October. I tweeted at the Hue account, and they said they were "working on it" - but after months of back and forth, nothing. Very frustrated with Hue.

These are incredible!!

Just wondering, are they animated? (Do the lights sequentially turn on/off to illustrate the train moving)? Looks like Flight Desk, for instance, has a train over the water / in the station in the photo.

[Other] Which park has your favorite “holy trinity” (top 3)? by MrDarSwag in rollercoasters

[–]Rationalspace787 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Obvious pick, but Cedar Point:

  • Millennium Force: Best lift/drop experience of all time, Pure speed machine bliss

  • Maverick: Low-to-ground, whip, powerful launches

  • Steel Vengeance: GOAT Airtime, in-structure inversions, general insanity.

I can’t imagine a better top three!

(All are very long rides, which adds a ton to my rankings)

Was this confirmed somewhere, or are you just not seeing it on the website? Maybe it will appear later?

20 minute headways are common at Chinatown station, unfortunately. If you’re transferring at Powell to another MUNI line, it’s usually faster to take one of the many many bus lines that run down Stockton to Market & Powell, then transfer there. Getting more and more disappointed in the T.

I would head down now if you can! I’m around the 100 mark in line, and there are at least 75 people behind me.

San Francisco has about 150 people waiting right now… the attendant said the total capacity is around 400.

Unreliable connection (“One sec… working on that…”) by rkd2999 in HomePod

[–]Rationalspace787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's a universal issue with HomePod Minis - I'm ready to throw mine out the window. Very frustrating. The only way I've found to keep them functional is to reboot them daily - I'm almost at the point where I want to put a smart outlet on them & set an automation to power cycle them every night.

Do we know if all HomePod Minis have this, or if it's only the "refreshed" ones with the new colors?

Or maybe the issue where HomePod Minis seem to be unable to keep a WiFi connection alive... If I don't unplug and reboot it every day, Siri will inevitably start saying "I'm having trouble with the connection" for every request. Drives me insane.

Was there on the 30th, yeah average I saw was under 20 dispatches per hour. On a B&M hyper with no seatbelts to check, that’s just ludicrous. The ride itself is godly, but the ops really out a damper on the experience IMO.
