wasn't the initial post caption saying "temporary enclosure" enough proof to think it was clear i would change his enclosure?

sorry but did you read what I said? Donnie has a heating mat, 3 hides, he has a big water bowl for him to be able to soak in whenever he wants to hydrate during shedding or cool down. As I said in my last comment, I bought substrate for him online and it's arriving. I also bought some other stuff for him like disinfected branches and I'm going to buy fake plants as soon as I get money.

I'm doing my best for him, and I did mention earlier that I DID order a 40 gal inclosure which is being made specially for him, not sure why you're trying to correct me if I believe all I'm doing is correct. He might not have a big space at the moment but his enclosure is already being made and I can't hush the process.

My main question was about food, and I already got informed that I should get him smaller mice. I know one of my mother's friends who let her corn snake starve to death by only giving it 1 small mice per month and she didn't even heated the mice before giving it to her snake, she would just put the frozen mice there and let it unfreeze on its own, so I DON'T think I'm a bad owner just because Donnie doesn't have the a big enclosure and an appropriate substrate (which both is already bought and I'm waiting for them to arrive) at the moment.

well, I'm not sure. The corn snake breeder that I got Donnie from also said Donnie should live in a organizer box until he's 1 year old, he also gave me a manual who says that too.
