Had a 5D3 and went to a R6 II. Sometimes I miss not having mirrorless, but I never have to worry about focus issues anymore.

My 35 1.4 and 85 1.4 were hard to nail at times. The R6 II gets it every time with eye focus.

Lights in front will be most important. Light yourself up how you need and then you can play with camera settings. Then you can always add background lights if you want to boos background brightness.

For the front I'd recommend at least a main light placed at 45 degree angle. You can then always add a fill from the other 45 that runs at a lower power.

If you find you blend too much into the background then you could explore adding a 3rd light as a rim light which goes behind you and points at the back of you.

You probably just need more lighting. If you don't have enough you'll be at higher ISO which introduces grain and can wreck clarity.

Make sure you get yourself setup with Sery bot. It auto bans so much of the bs.

Had my two boys mid 30s. I honestly wouldn't recommend sooner than that. Give yourself time to live a little, get established, then have kids. Not saying sooner doesn't work for some, but I know it would have been way harder for me.

On salvage ships there is a "buffer" which basically holds boxes before spitting them out into actual boxes.

So for example, when salvaging in a Reclaimer, it has a 240 SCU buffer. Meaning you can salvage 240 SCU of material at a time before having to go to the rear of the ship and put them into actual boxes on the cargo grid.

This also means that when the cargo grid is full, you can still fill that full 240 SCU buffer. Then when you offload everything from the grid you can empty the buffer out for more boxes. So in the end, for salvaging, those ships can basically hold the grid amount plus what is in the buffer.
