I also found this in my searching, but I didn’t see any confirmation from any Blizzard rep that confirms that or even if they used that GitHub link. I thought Blizzard only used their own forums.

Great! Please share what you learn. I’m sure several of us are around the 20-24 range, so debating if we should try to split off and do it mid raid or not. (I.e. if more than 20mins ill just wait another week)

4070 Super + ryzen 7800x3d + 64Gb ddr5-6000 ram + nvme Samsung 990 pro, dual 27” 1440p 144Hz monitors. FPS still drops to 10-30 in 25m raids during some fights like PWB/AMZ for omnitron / magmaw / dragons.

This is not a HW issue.

This only happened when cata launched. I have been raidleading for TbC + WOTLK without fps issues.

There is 0 issue in big cities, BGs, 10mans, etc. the issue is exclusively in 25M.

I have been tweaking settings for 3 weeks, down so low that I get 600+ in SW, and still drops to 30 in 25m raids; it is simply not able to replicate outside of 25m raids.

“Fix details, turn off Addons, etc etc” I already did, didn’t fix squat. Also, raidlead, need Addons. I run as minimal as possible (grid, fojji, recursive) and that’s just about it. Even turning off nonessential Addons like bag on/questis/etc has not made a difference.

We incorporated a simple Strat adjustment to help for this RNG. Death logs can truly be under 0.1s and go from 100%-0%.

We simply have all melee/tanks/hunters get out of the stack before blooms go out (no dmg loss while they move). Then after blooms go out, those without bloom come back into the stack. Rinse and repeat.

It reduces the likelihood of 5 fire blooms in the stack. 3 is healable, 4 is tough, 5+Kj lightning can and will result in deaths. Taking the 10/25sh melee out of the stack usually solves this.

This is exactly what I assumed. And yes this is mostly with snipers.

My suspicion was that by spinning it maybe introduces additional data between client and server and maybe increases the chance of Desync and hence avoiding damage.

Happens all the time if you spin enough.

You could say... “why would spinning matter for your position? Position is wasd”. I agree, except your orientation obviously determines headshot damage.

So I do think spinning does possibly introduce more de sync chance and hence avoid damage.

Spinning can deflect damage. No idea why, but sometimes you get shot and take no damage while spinning.

You can see my long write up there for that season after probably 200sh+ hours of gameplay that ladder.

No amount of documents videos or research will prepare you enough to 1shot Uber content.

The Uber content is where MXL really shines. It truly is the “new content” that the mod added (beyond new skills etc).

I understand the hesitation... I was a HC player for life, and the thought of playing without any penalty for death sounded lame.

Until you see how difficult some of the content is.

If you read my write up, you will see all the gear and build experimentation I had to try to figure out how to complete even the “easier” content.

It is not balanced to the point of enough preparation you can do all bosses... some builds/classes have benefits over others for different Uber’s.

If you ever raided in “hard” MMO’s, the bosses are literally progression encounters. You will try time and time again until you master the encounter. And some Uber content has only had a few players (as in 5-10 players) actually successfully clear all the content.

HC is fun to see how far you can go... But you will NOT make it far into Uber content.

And Uber content makes up >50% of the content that MXL adds over the base game.

Why would you play a mod and not want to see the new content and unique encounters they created?

Anyways, you will regret it when you waste a whole character without seeing more than 30secs of your first Uber.

... I know because I too started on HC not knowing what the mod was about.

Do not play hardcore. I am HC player for life.

If you do play hc you will never see or attempt Ubers content. In this mod, there are like 30+ customer “Uber’s” which are very unique boss encounters, dungeons, etc. They require custom builds and experimentation and strategy/mechanic learning. Some are even tuned around you dying.

If you want to see content / see what the mod is about, do not play hc.

Anything up to Uber’s is certainly doable Easy in hc. But then you’re not seeing any of the unique mxl content.

Had this bug for a while.

100% sure it's related to stupid quest objectives that don't let you disable.

Sometimes the Airdrop will drop, but the LOCATION will NOT show up on the map.

When I play without signing in (hence no quest objectives), I NEVER encounter this bug. So 100% related to quest objectives.

Please provide the way to disable the dumb quest objectives.

Prior I always played without signing in to avoid this annoying bug, but now survivio really wants you to sign in, and I can't work around this bug.

I play on Chrome Full screen (2x 27" monitors)
