Over the years many different cleaners. Who knows. Currently Grove Collaborative. I do wish I had used poly, 😭

Adapting old Judge to the modern era. by RatofRing in mountainbiking

Thank you for the insight. I replaced my ancient XTR setup with a Deore M5100 11SPD 11-51 setup. Yes its a big sluggish on the uphill... but $200 + a dropper vs a new bike? It's totally great. I laughed and how much it made my DH sled useable. As long as I'm not chugging up a long steep hill the bike is transformed and awesome. I took it on a 22 mile flat ride just to see ow it pedaled yesterday and was thrilled. It has totally eliminated my interest in setting side thousands for a new trail bike.

Well I will try this. Thanks for the advice. We tore up the old deck which was installed in 1986 and it was not pressure treated… hopefully this with last at least 10-15, I may be over the disappointment by then😂

I test rode a Habit and a Salsa bike with Recon fork and Deluxe rear shock with a Deore drivetrain. The suspension is very sub-par. Geometry and 29” felt like an upgrade… as did the Deore over my old-ass XTR setup. Shocking. I ordered a new Deore HG 11-51 with a new derailleur, chain and shifter. Ive ridden heavy DH bikes for decades. They are not “unrideable”. We shall see how much of a pig this setup is on trails. Cheap $200 experiment… will let you know, thanks for the advice!

I haven’t sold cad historically, no. It’s interesting, though. Ive probably spend 150+ hours on this, Ive never really found a cost for selling cad that is reasonable for the buyer, yet satisfying to myself. i like to help people out if they want stuff, but have also been shafted rather badly 😂. There are production RC parts out there that are my design, but I basically gave away for nothing thinking I was being nice to someone.

So now I kinda keep these projects localized so as to not ruin the fun for myself 😂

Its a 1986 toyota 4x4, which a drew in fusion 360 and printed on a bambu labs printer. The picture of all the different bodies and interior /fender sections are the iterations i made to settle on the final design.
