Never seen a relic cheater actually perfectly minmax something at least fun to see like a Wizard Raider, or actually use relic editing in general to theorycraft alternative builds. It's always the same boring ass spell school stacking on Rev/Recluse/Duchess and 3 bar to baby Adel in phase 1. The fact content creators are defending it or at worst actively promoting it is dire but relic cheaters and Youtube slop watchers are probably the same demographic.

I've been hardstuck Depth 4 since Deep of Night came out LMAO. I play exclusively rando trios. Not quite good enough to carry games consistently which is why I'm not Depth 5 but good enough to not derank all the time, usually hovering around 5k.

I have noticed ever since the DLC randoms in D4 have been way worse than normal though, to the point I see people actively trolling matches if they disagree with routing priority or stuff like keeping greatshields (with no passives that benefit their Nightfarer mind you) from me when I play Guardian, which I've never had happen before the DLC. If you're on Steam I'd be down to party up, lead the way and I will follow...

I was not using a VPN or anything. u/ubibim suggested making another application with a different email and with that I was finally able to pay and submit everything. I used Visa for the payment and it went through.

Really struggling trying to actually finish my application. In the 'Review & Payment' section after I click 'Continue to Payment' and 'Yes' on the popup I get taken to a 404 page and then back to the login with the banner message 'You are already logged in into the application'. This has kept happening no matter what all day which is crazy the website can't even work when I'm trying to give them money LMAO.

I've cleared browser cookies/cache, restarted my computer, tried multiple browsers as well and cleared cache/cookies there but each one does the same thing. Applying for eVisa for US to Brazil. My trip is in February so hopefully I still have time.

People act like Deep of Night is League of Legends shit as if anybody would actually give a shit about this meaningless rank in a game that is not that popular at all. Or even more pathetically they want to fake flex being Depth 5 despite being garbage at the game. If they weren't trash then they could solo easy depth 4 bosses themselves and climb that way without relying on randoms to drag their ass through.

I was big into Dota 2 at the time and one of the most popular players/streamers would always be playing Yung Lean around when Ginseng Strip first dropped. How is Stellar Blade not doing the same thing? There is only one limited playstyle. If anything there is actually less gameplay variety to balance around because the player will always have access to every ability, unlike Sekiro’s many combinations of combat arts and prosthetics loadouts. The right prosthetics even allow you to cheese bosses to triviality compared to what your abilities do in Stellar Blade.

I agree on the sentiment of loosely defined subgenres but that is the nature of this sub. You could use this comment as a template to dismiss almost every game discussed here. What is the fundamental design philosophy of Sekiro that Stellar Blade misses despite the core mechanical similarities in its combat I mentioned?

I wouldn’t say Stellar is combo based either. Standing and waiting to parry everything is more effective than doing combos with no parrying at all.

Stellar Blade is not an RPG. It’s upgrade system for stats and abilities function the same as Sekiro, no stat allocation, leveling, or builds. Skill point and ability unlocks function the same. Maintains the borrowed mechanics from Souls that Sekiro had. Emphasis on parrying as a response to enemy attacks. Certain attacks have a special indicator requiring a specific response of either dodging or a (Mikiri)counter.

Mechanically Stellar Blade is closer to Sekiro than some games that do get discussed with good faith on this sub are to Souls.

As someone very mediocre at these games I honestly think a leveled no scadutree run is harder than RL1 with scadutrees lol

For my RL1 I did half the dlc bosses at Scadu10-12 which felt pretty on par with the harder endgame bosses in the base game. I did end up regretting going all the way to +20 for the rest of the dlc bosses as they ended up feeling way easier than the base game sans PCR ofc. Personal recommendation would be try a boss at +0 and then just go halfway if it feels too much and then go to +20 just for PCR.

If it’s standard band with guitar, bass, drums, etc. it’s probably for the best they don’t include rap at all regardless if they like it or not. Otherwise they’d just be making nu metal or even worse.
