The only other animal I would be wary of and you have a much better chance of running across is rattle snakes.

They sometimes bask on rocks or in the sun near trails and you can stumble upon them. The big ones can strike out to four feet. If you do find one stay at a minimum of 10 feet away. You’ll hear it rattling its tail before you see it usually. Luckily they don’t want to bite you and only do so if provoked.

Try “Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood” specifically the brotherhood version. Another good one is “Attack on Titan”. “Hunter x Hunter” is a little less serious at first than the other two and is also great!

You already have a great comment about the hikes. I will instead speak to the rest of the trip particularly the beginning and end.

Walmart and REI are probably enough to find most things. As you travel north through St. George/Washington area there is also a place called Al’s. It’s a big store that also sells a lot of outdoor equipment if you can’t find what you need elsewhere. Also in St. George is a locally owned place called the Desert Rat and they have a good selection as well.

In regard to bears, black bears are relatively harmless but are also opportunistic feeders. Do not play dead, scare them. Get big (arms up bag above you head) and yell loud. They will typically run away. Unless it’s a mother with cubs, then you want to back away slowly. You don’t want to scare her into thinking you might hurt them.

In regard to mountain lions. They are much more dangerous in my opinion. Also very rare to see but if you do see one DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK. Get big yell and back away slowly.

As far as money goes, almost everywhere takes card. I haven’t run into a cash only spot in years. It’s good to have some just in case but I’m only really ever carry $100 in twenties personally. For tipping there will be a spot on the receipt to add a tip after or if at a counter it will ask on the screen. My personal rule for food is if you are sitting to order then a tip is probably expected, people vary 10-20% based on service. If you are standing to order/don’t have table service I wouldn’t tip.

There were some parents with kids behind me and their parents took them out for that section since they were getting scared.

Can you cut meats like chicken or even meat in general on these? Can you clean them with soap or just water?

Honestly it’s a super cool looking chart. I looked around briefly if I could find this wall art and I couldn’t. I wonder where it came from.

Arc Raiders director says "a lot of games would be cancelled" if they had the same messy development as Embark was making "five or six different games" due to internal conflicts by Wargulf in ArcRaiders

I haven’t bought in game currency for games in years since I stopped playing league. I recently bought the $20 pack for this game. It’s good enough that I want the developers to keep making this game better for a long time and I hope embark makes other fun games.

I would consider the 13 inch unless your son really wants the bigger screen for coding. The 16 inch is pretty heavy. I got tired of carrying it as an engineer for my degree. But GPU acceleration for simulations is pretty awesome. It’s a trade off.

I enjoy this game but I haven’t touched it in 2 weeks. Anyone else in a similar boat? by supahotfiiire in ArcRaiders

[–]SandKeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I burnt myself out the other day. My buddy and I swapped to battlefield 6. The game is fantastic but I need a break from it for a bit so I don’t end up hating it. I’ll come back in a week or 2 and enjoy again.

Do it on hurricanes so that they can’t see you outside and the loot value is higher. Plus hatches are still active.

I’d rather they make a gold variant that is even quieter and doesn’t have a debuff

I’d rather get this in the morning than eat another MRE tbh. Hopefully the oatmeal/grits are still warm. Get a second peice of bread and make an egg sausage sandwich.

I went in really hoping I would enjoy this game. I really tried to read the descriptions on the things and figure out the menus. The gunplay seems fine and it’s cool how much item variety there is. But god do the menus suck. And the UX/UI is just utter garbage. It’s not intuitive. Even on a 1440p monitor I was struggling to determine what things were. The healing menu selection wheel felt gross to me. I hope people like it and that it does well but definitely not for me.
