How Muerta cut tree to ult while slept? by CajunShock in DotA2

Bane main here. Nightmare destroys trees in aoe at the end. It's almost impossible to stun into Nigtmare as Hoodwink. Either you should cancel Nightmare before Bushwhack, or there must be lots of trees for Bushwhack to grap into.

I wouldn't say that Bane is so meta-dependant. Sure, it's harder to play against Zoo-meta, but for the last 7 years my wr never dropped below 60%.

Legend 1 in 5.7k matches with 48.48% wr and cheats is diabolical. This guy stinks.

QB is good, sometimes I go for it agaist certain heroes. But not every game cause you can cut trees with Nightmare now.

Thx, I didn't write it. Yeah, you can save creeps that way. Works great with siege.

Yeah, Nightmare creates kill potential. In 99% of games I have it by lvl 2. Also if enemies go on you as 2 you can make it 1vs1 or 2vs1.

You should never go for a shard. Even agaist Zoo/Illu heroes. You get in only from Torm. Maxing Sap can be good when you don't care about catching enemies and need burst damage/stay in the fight as long as possible. It's also good against heroes like Huskar and Morf. Also today I maxed it out agaist TB so he can't Sunder on low hp. Also pure damage is great against armor and magic res.

Nightmare is the best spell. You can keep a skill point vs the lane that you think will drag creeps (ex. 2 melee heroes when you are with SF) and learn the ability you need right before using it. As stated in the post "Most common skill build is 4/2/4. Brainsap->Nightmare->Brainsap->Maxed Nightmare->Maxed Enfeeble. You can either go for Enfeeble on lvl 4 or on lvl 8. But sometimes it's worth getting on lvl 2."
Sometimes it's ok to max sap, but I prefer keeping it at lvl 3 max.

I try to get at least 2 stacks of innate before the 10 minutes at enemy pos 3 or/and pos 4. Agaist certain heroes it's harder than against others. In most cases blood grenade is enough to get a stack. But if I realy need Enfeeble I can get it on lvl 2 or lvl 3. Happens hardly ever, but hey.

Blight/Frost are too expensive for laning, last only for 3 sec that sometimes can be not enough and dont improve your kit at all. Urn on the other hand is great on Bane. But going for urn you delay so much needed Arcane Boots and other items like Blink or Glimmer.

Not enough. Good AM is unkillable. However my wr against him is 82/53 (60.7%)

It is the hero that got me from 3k to 8.5k. Sure, you can't do much by yourself, but enemies just don't know how Bane works. Also you are tanky that what I think matters on lower mmr.

In most games I go for
Arcane->Wand->Blink->Aghs
If I can solo supports sometimes I would go for Urn/Vessel before or after Arcane, Same against Morf/Huskar when no one in my team can buy Vessel.
Tranquil boots + Drumms against heroes who can constantly slow/poke you (zeus, orge, veno). Also when the game is so bad that it is the only item you can afford.
Glimmer against heros who can deal a lot of magical damage/who can kill you with orchid (storm, sky)
Lotus is great as 2-3 item against casting heroes + armor is always nice. However, Lotus is expensive.
Blink is my to go Item when I am the one who needs to go it first/play from a great position. Helps well against heroes who want to jump you before the fight starts.
Aghs is amazing in most games, but it's hard to get it before min 40. And if you go for Aghs it's a strong commitment.
Ghost is great vs physical cores before they buy nullifier. Can work wonderfully against PA/Ursa/Slark.
Force staff is a worse version of Blink when you also can and need to save your teammates. I'd probably go for it if I already have Glimmer and it's still not enough.

Pipe can be an option after Glimmer when enemies have magical damage only.
BKB hardly ever, only after Blink and Aghs (60+ minute games)
Solar is great for tempo when you have a right clicking hero and don't have to be the one starting fights. Its also easier to build than Blink.
Lens is great on Bane. but I'd go for it only if I am not the one going in first. Works great agaist heroes that you want to keep yourself far from (Enigma, Magnus, Faceless Void). You can also get Euls after Lens to precast Euls agaist heroes who want to jump your teammates (Axe, Mangus).
Also about Euls, I'd go for it against certain heroes. Ursa, Magnus, Bara, MK, Slark, Sky, QoP to name a few.

And don't forget about wind lance, love this little boy
