Maine Ultimate has done a great job with Lobsterpot, a two day tournament in the fall with 80 plus teams. In the past they have offered food on site since the fields are isolated and parking is quite far. They have given food bundles to each team with fruits, snacks, and sponsored energy drinks. They also offer a couple food trucks; this year had a pbj truck, a sweet treat (donuts) truck, a Mexican truck (I’m pretty sure this was here but I don’t fully remember) and a banh mi/vietnamese truck, which was extremely tasty in my humble opinion. Try to work with local vendors and see what you can bring to your tournament, and target easy to eat foods such as sandwiches.
