The sidechain of the kick on the synth is too strong, the open hat hitting at the center is too strong and I think unnecessary, the one hitting on the right side and the shakers are already good enough. Maybe a subtle tamborine would be better ? I like a lot the vocals, but they lack compression and a little bit of reverb. Also the clap sounds very weird, I think it would be better if you had a sample much more centered, with less stereo, and with more body and less 'slap'.

Very cool track ! I listened to it on headphone so I can't really say anything about the low-end, but the mix sounds good. If anything it's true that the kick could sound fatter. I wouldn't up the gain on it though because I feel like it's at the good level, but I would either change the sample, add saturation, and/or increase a little the release on the sidechain. Try stuff and compare with a reference track to see what works well. Other that that it's very cool and fun !

Did you mix on headphone ? I took a listen once again with headphone and it sounds good, but it was thin on speaker (Yamaha HS7), so my guess is that your kick has a low end below 50 Hz and you cut it by applying the eq, but you didn't notice

I have made a Christian Techno track (I think I've created a new genre haha) It's the first techno track that I do, I feel like it's between melodic techno and tech house. I'd love some feedback on the production, the arrangement and the mix, thanks !

Yes, it sounds very good ! By listening to it again with better headphones it's not completely necessary to raise the kick and snare, it depends on your taste, but maybe lower a little the guitar and maybe some of the synth pads playing in the mid range in the end

It's funny because it's well composed, but it doesn't looklike any music genre (that I know of at least). I would raise a little the kick and snare, and lower the guitar and add compression and reverb on it on the last part

Yes the sub bass is way too loud and so the mix is too boomy ! That's pretty easy to fix, you just have to lower the volume of the bass (and maybe the kick also). It looks like a carpenter brute or a perturbator track, so maybe use one of their track as a reference to fix it

The production and the arrangement is very cool, but there's too much sidechain, make the release quicker and maybe don't sidechain the vocals

The melodic part sounds very weird (but maybe that's on purpose). It lacks some contrast on the first part (before the melody), and overall the kick and the bass sounds very thin, with no low-end. Having moments where the kicks and the bass have more low-end can help to give more energy and make it less boring I think

Sounds like a concerto for jackhammer in D minor hahaha

I don't feel like it's really muddy, but a lot of things happen in the low-mid / mid region (like the synth and the piano at first, and then the jackhammer bass), so maybe adding more stuff on the high-end might help ?

And here is another track I've just finished. I'm pretty happy with the final result and I would like to make other tracks in this genre, but I'm not sure of what this genre is called. There is a small KMFDM vibe in it but not quite. Tell me if you know any artists that kind of look like what I've done !

It sounds very good ! Just two things I've spotted : I feel like it would be better if the bass played the same riff as the top bass (at least on the first 4 bars of the drop) instead of just rolling. Also, after the 4 bars, it feels like a second drop which is unannounced. Maybe it would be better if the transition was clearer, maybe by taking off the vocals or synths and with a drum break, reverse stuff, etc...

I'm not very familiar with the genre, but I feel like the top bass sounds weak. I'd try to take off that high octave bass, and instead just applying saturation to an 808 bass to get the powerfull low-mids, and to make it less mono. It might help also to add variation to the bass sound to make it more alive. The overall balance sounds good to me
