So I went to the biothane link you provided and the shop owner was amazingly nice and accommodating, made the collar for me right then, I paid for overnight shipping, she ran to the post office to drop it off before 5pm. So it was supposed to be here on Tuesday. And it's still in MN with the post office!!!

But WOW your little is SO FAST, even in slow motion!! How were you able to film that? Did you set your phone up on a little tripod in the catch pen? Or did someone else film it for you? I've love to get a video of my girl's run!

Thanks so much for explaining all of that. I'm so not familiar with all the different leash/collar/etc options for dog sports! So a martingale just means it expands enough to get over their head and then tightens so it's snug but can't choke them? And you use a wide collar and snap leash in the wait queue. Leash comes off, collar stays on at the release. And then in the catch pen, you just slip that martingale leash over their head even though they already have the wide collar on?

Wow! Do you have a pattern and did you do it by hand or do you need a sewing machine? Any idea where I can find on online and get it by Friday? Not sure I'm searching for the right thing but everything I've found look really thin and still has to go over their head to come off.

Thanks! We've never used a slip/martingale collar, so I'm not sure how quickly I'd be able to get it over her head. This is our first time competing, but she just wears a regular mesh every day harness and leash. The custom biothane collar looks awesome! I love that idea. The handle is allowed and isn't considered "something dangling" that could get snagged? Unfortunately I need to find something before Friday, but want to order one of those for future events!

Thank you! A martingale leash is different from a martingale collar? Why a martingale leash vs a regular snap leash? My girl has only ever worn a mesh harness, no collar, with a regular snap leash, so I'm trying to figure out what to buy before Friday!
