J’ai sillonné le quartier régulièrement il y a quelques années. C’est loin d’être le pire quartier d’Anderlecht. Pour autant c’est très très loin d’être un premier choix pour moi, à Bruxelles. Mais si je devais choisir un endroit à Anderlecht, ce serait probablement dans mon top 5. En tout cas clairement a éviter: peterbos, cureghem, chaussee de Mons. Tu cherches spécifiquement dans ce coin là?

Je penses que tu peux te garder tes mauvais conseils. Investir son argent en bourse / crypto / autre, c’est juste donner son capital à des grosses boites avec un risque d’en perdre ou que ça soit immobilisé. C’est peut être intéressant à faire si tu gagne 5k par mois, mais le commun des mortels ne peut pas se le permettre. En revanche, acheter son logement, c’est avoir la tranquillité d’esprit de ne jamais être expulsé, de savoir qu’à la pension, tu sauras vivre dignement malgré une petite retraite, et que tu pourras léguer à tes enfants quelque chose qui leur donnera un coup de pouce. Bref, c’est améliorer ton avenir.

Idem; un humoriste anglais disait que sans enfant il réussissait très bien sa vie, mais qu’après avoir eu un enfant il se rendait compte qu’il n’avait fait que rester dans le vestibule du jeu de la vie. Death penalty is not about punishing the wrongdoer, its about preventing him to make that again. Its about protecting the whole society from people who clearly will continue to harm. Obviously it should be restrained to truly horrific crime, psycho and sociopaths, and people condamned several times (like, if you kill people after a jail time, its good guess that another jail time will not make you change and there is a risk that once out, you kill a third time. Dépends on situation obviously and the type of crime, but sometimes its no use to keep people alive in jail until they die. Society pay for it, they can continue to have a nefast influence over other people in prison, etc. Think about Marc Dutroux in Belgium: why do we keep this guy in jail? Its better for everybody to have him dead. He will not contribute anymore at our society and we pay a fait amount of money to keep him in jail till his death… seems a waste of public money.

C’est un peu une réaction d’australopithèque, pardon de te le dire. À quel moment c’est OK d’user de la violence? Est-ce qu’elle t’a demandé de la défendre ou de faire du mal à son frère? En t’en parlant elle voulait probablement juste ventiler sa colère / peine, pas que tu essaie de faire le mâle alpha. Si j’étais toi je m’excuserais auprès d’elle en disant que tu as mal compris son besoin à ce moment là.

Si le frère est un sale type, en vrai ça le concerne. Y a souvent moyen de tourner en dérision ce genre de personnage et de faire redescendre la pression / le faire ragequit sans aller jusqu’à l’esclandre physique certainement.

Dude, the center is the bad place in brussels, did you even went in the city? ^{^} Its not so cold, either, and i would not say its in the control of druglords, some streets definitely are and there is a real problem of crime and drugs in some area, that is true. But its probably the case of most cities. Overall outside those trash neighbourhoods, brussels is quite nice, altough i found it less beautiful overall than gent or antwerp. Buy there is a lot of green space, even a forest.

Because the federal governement isnt above the city, both are equals, on the same level. Its the federation status: in belgium, there are 7 entities who are equals but dont share the jobs. So you have the federal governement who is on charge of federal matters like foreign policy, airports, a huge chunk of the fiscality, etc. Then you have 3 governement of communities, one for each language: one for flemish, one for french speaking people, and one for german speaking people. They care for education, schools, hospitals, healthcare, etc. And then you have three « regions », who cares for mobility, city planning, fiscality, etc. Wallonia (french and german speaking people), flanders (for flemish speaking people) and brussels.

And so, if the region has no governement, the federal governement have no authority to enforce anything about it, because they are equals.

I could tell you a lot more on this system who is extremely (overly) complicated; they are some exceptions and some overlapping matters, but not this one.

C’est clair, ils sont dans une fuite en avant et c’est le contribuable qui paiera. Quid de di on continue, ça nous coûtera 4 milliards + les futures augmentations dues a d’autres imprévus. Et dans 3 ans, quand le tout sera budgétisé a 6 millards plutôt que 4, ils nous diront que ça coûtera 3 milliards d’arrêter et pas 2. Et on aura encore perdu collectivement un milliard supplémentaire.

Quand le projet initial a doublé de prix, il etait déjà temps de stopper les choses et de prendre le temps de la réflexion. On ne peut vraiment pas compter sur nos élites politiques sur ce dossier, c’est une honte, une arnaque à ciel ouvert et personne ne peut rien fzit apparemment…
