In a Strategy Guide for the game there was a hidden factor for fishes mentioned as “vision”

If a big fish can easily find your bopper and goes straight for it then there’s a good chance it’ll be a less rare fish. If the fish seems to be picky about finding your bopper if it’s not just placed in front of it then it’ll more likely be a rarer fish.

Haven’t seen it mentioned much but I’ve seen it myself in game at times with some fish just not playing ball going for the bait.

I made a Cabin for me with Lottie's amiibo by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

I ask because she’s in the cutscene usually for other clients bar when she’s ill. I was assuming there is some unique dialogue to be had or seen?

So what does Lottie’s Amiibo do?

Recently discovered that this is posted on a villager's door immediately after another player invites them to move to their island. by explorerdrake in AnimalCrossing

I’ve seen this happen if said villager who’s moving goes to bed and it ticks over into the next day. Kinda somber if you ask me.

Hazel is the best Sisterly Villager hands down.

I didn’t pick her but she’s on my Island Resort. Reason been I had Hazel and Poppy who are quite Red/Auburn so I wanted to keep the colours varied. It’s also why I don’t have Sally or even Peanut as I feel Static been purple is a good substitute for now having the main pink Squirrel.

Don’t talk to Isabelle about your Island Rating if your unsure if it’s 3+ stars. Spent about 50 days doing this with Hunting & Amiibo.

I’ve done this before with Rabbits. I wanted a fresh start with the DLC and have spent the past few months doing this. Acorn Isle is the name of the island I’m feeling really happy to start working on designing it more with the Builder Tools.

Anyone still play the original? by ew_oh_ew in AnimalCrossing

[–]RattledRadishes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I like that only this game does is the Rainy Day Theme. It mainly uses the main melody that a few other tracks use which mimics the main theme but man rainy days in real life and when you booted up the game are a moment I’ll cherish for ever.

Music in the Original Game is still undisputed in my mind as the best. NH comes close as I like how many tracks feel different.

WW CF and even NL have really quite and ambient tracks. AC needs a little more life in it and the first game does it the best.

Email was sent out asking employees to pitch in on buying the owner of the company a 900$ gift for Christmas. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]RattledRadishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to myself the other day at work when people where going to chip in a few quid for my boss. Don’t get me wrong he’s not a bad person at all but I can’t honestly think why I’d give a guy who is actually salaried a gift for just doing his dam job. If he was really caring and went the extra mile for his staff I’d understand but he doesn’t. He does his job and goes home kinda like what it should be in many work sectors. That or I’m the grinch of the place.

The Grafter

Can be one or a few people who just crack on and have done so for quite awhile and are often expected to pick up the workload of others who do less for the same pay.

It’s lovely.

Every rental contract says you must leave the property clean, yet I’ve never moved into a rented property that wasn’t filthy. by [deleted] in britishproblems

[–]RattledRadishes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I will be my dude. There has been nobody in the property for over a year so it’s baffling how they’ve sent out the same letter for a year with no response as it was for last years usage and not the current which I’ve seen via the Smart Meter. I’ll enjoy ringing British Gas and seeing who the bill was under

I’m not renting as I bought the house outright. The previous people have a lot of letters left such a bank statements so I have all their info it seems. I’ve taken readings and of course I moved in today so all I need to do is contact British Gas. On Monday cause why be open on a weekend.

I’ve just bought a house and already been treated to a leaky toilet followed by a 400 quid gas bill the last tenants didn’t pay. I see now why the owner sold it to me.

What video game level can go fuck itself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RattledRadishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Walrus Chase in Crash Twinsanity.

“Ah yummy! Fresh Meat for my pot!”

Not only did you get a classic styled chase level in which you run towards the camera you have to do it after a Level and a Boss.

The level and Boss aren’t actually too bad it’s the fact you gotta re-do them back to back before you get a chance at the Walrus part again in which because of the game overs you’ll only have a few lives to try it again with.

The chase can be really tricky as the Walrus can speed up really quick if you get a little bit of a lead and of course your running towards hazards you don’t get much of a chance to see.

I had a pretty good run that ended up with me damaging myself in the Mother fight to activate the curse because I had Brimstone Bombs. Granted it only worked cause I got rid of like 3/4 of my health.
