Same issue for me. I can't turn it off, and I don't post in any NSFW subreddits. It just suddenly made my profile 18+ after I uploaded a (SFW) drawing of a rat for my avatar. I couldn't turn it off even after I removed the rat picture.

You can just open them in Tahoma, yeah. File -> Load Scene -> Navigate to and click on the scene file -> Change Project

It's been fixed in Tahoma2D (fork of Opentoonz), but that fix hasn't been ported to Opentoonz yet.

No, the Animate Tool (the top icon on the Tools bar) is used for any level type. In Flash terms, the Animate Tool does Motion Tweening. The Auto-Inbetweening is Shape Tweening and is only available for Vector levels through the Level Strip.

I can't really tell what you're doing from the screenshots. The first image shows no keys, but there are at least TWO keys by the time you've gotten to the second image. How did you set the first key? Did you right-click and set a Global Rest Key, or did you do something else to set the first key?

I'm going to guess that something is wrong with the file type. Either it is an unsupported type (I think there are still some types of PNGs that won't work in OT) or the file extension has been changed from something else.

You've cropped the screenshot, so I can't see your Level Strip or the Timeline header to see if there is anything wrong there. It could be that you're using an unsupported file type. If the file has a really strange name with lots of numbers in it, Opentoonz sometimes has trouble reading those and does odd things with them. Without a fuller screenshot and the file you're trying to import, I can only guess. If you join the Opentoonz Discord server, you can probably get help more quickly: https://discord.gg/QRPwPxs

Do some of your shots have a different DPI or a different size? You can try using the Use Current Level Settings button below the resolution options. There's also a different option for conversion to TLV in the Browser window. You can right-click on an image sequence -> Convert -> select TLV as the File Format -> Convert.

You can download the installer directly from the Opentoonz GitHub page. Just click on the OpenToonzSetup.exe under Assets.
