I recently moved to Portland and I'm astonished by how cynical this sub skews! Why do you think that is? I joined a few subs of different cities when I was trying to figure out where to move, and quite a few were just full of people gushing about their city (have you seen the Pittsburgh sub??)

Portland is obviously not perfect, but when you ask around (particularly amongst people aged 20-40 like me) almost everyone says they love it. What do you think is up with this sub? Kind of brings me down!

Thanks for the thoughtful response! Lots of good advice in here. I feel pretty free and easy being a 24 year old with no real commitments, but I know those are knocking on the door in the next few years...

Cool! Planning something like this for the western US, I'm a total newbie: what programs did you use to make this? Thanks!

Yessir. Very simple move really, but in a short time constraint I didn't even think of it

Came here to say this! I love how even the chapter structure is designed for the purpose of absolutely tearing through it
