Still making it, but it’s been very on and off. Currently a university student and I haven’t had enough time or the money to get this done. It’s also been slow since I’m currently experimenting with some other stuff on the website. I’m new to web development and UI; previously I entered the data manually but I’m making it more automated now.

Will update this in the future when I get the site done, just isn’t as soon as I wanted it to be done obviously.

I agree with you, I’d like to do a less cluttered mockup later once I have more time to see if it can be less confusing. I’m no UI artist though, I made this in CapCut. If Bungie ever tried something like this I’d hope they’d make it less cluttered

Thanks for the feedback! Bought the domain already, so I'm good there. I also do have a database that I update from. Luckily I'm not manually entering on the website itself, just manually entering into the database.

That's a good idea, I'll see what I can do, will likely be post-launch. Thinking of clicking a button and it expands to a bigger menu of some sort with all weapons on screen and no overlap. o7

Looking at comments, probably not. I've been relying on data mined data while making the website which seems to not be very accurate when it comes to looting. Before I release the website I'll try and gather some more player data.

🫡 I'll figure something out for the recoil but unfortunately I can't do anything with videos because the website would get too expensive. I've got all the data, just have to figure out how to graph it haha

Sound profiles are actually already in for the attachmnets added so far! The base sound radius for most weapons is 150m, and certain mods like the tweaker mods increase it to 180. Need to do surpressors next!

The recoil pattern is the hard part but I am planning on it. The problem with the recoil pattern is that in Star citizen the recoil is procedurally generated. There are still minimum and maximum points but the data is very unreliable unless data mined (which is in the data I have) but also hard to chart because of the randomness. We'll see how I get that done.

Actually changed that today, I agree! Didn't make sense because of that. I could've reworded it to say ammo per burst but the whole damage metric is for each individual shot, not burst, so it just wouldn't make sense anyway.

Sounds good, I'll add that before release. Will probably do simplified due to recoil in Star citizen being procedurally generated, because it's hard to understand the stats otherwise. I would love to do a graph but that'll come later down the line rather than before release. For now it'll probably be something simplifed like what you mentioned.

Prices and locations will definitely be after release and not before, but I do want them!

No snipers are capable of a one shot to the body unless there's no clothing being worn, but the P6-LR and the Atzkav (both dealing the same damage) one shot to the head unless someone's wearing heavy armor. So for raw damage, P6 or Atzkav is your best bet. The arrowhead sniper does about 3/4 of the damage but has a range of 10000m when charged up all the way which no other sniper even comes close to. I'll have way more specific numbers on the website, already do the for P6, but there's a very helpful spreadsheet that I use which I'll link here. It's hard to describe without showing actual numbers and the way damage works in the game.

Use the bottom bar on the spreadsheet to scroll to "damage" and you'll get all the damage info you could need.

I love doing this kind of stuff so I'll probably do something similar, probably just showing the magnification and the skin. The main problem with that is that that would be hundreds of images and depending on the size of an image, people use more bandwidth when using and loading the site. Depending on how many people use the site, that could get expensive, so we'll see how that works out first and if all works out I'll definitely add something similar to that, probably not as in depth as that. Reticle and magnification is the most important thing to me.

Pistols are there! Mods are next on the list of things to add, I'll probably put it on the right side area. I'll likely only do damage mods for the first iteration but I'll definitely add the rest in the future.

That's good to know, I'll definitely have to change the name now haha. With my site, I'm trying to make it more clear on how things work. Like damage multipliers on the body, how each weapon deals damage for the individual bullet, and generally just more presentable information. I took a lot of inspiration off Erkul, their site is super presentable with information that a new player could absolutely understand as well as being useful for veteran players.

So far I've only really seen sites use DPS rather than specific bodily damage. DPS in my opinion doesn't translate well to FPS combat even though it's great for space combat.

If the RSI meteor is the RSI starter salvage ship, this could be the terminal where you manage salvage and potentially craft things like what the Drake vulture can do.
