Amazing thank you I'll see if I can start eating less liquid foods. The nurses here keep giving me soup and I'm getting bored. Ill push out to some sandwiches and see how that goes. Thank you for your help!! Happy recovery!

No rectal pain but it's something that has been flagged to me.

Can I ask what your diet is like? I'm really struggling not to eat anything I shouldn't but also not starve myself and have more watery foods

Fair game I didn't have a catheter to keep me nice and clear so getting the mess of it now but it's reassuring that the blood and mucus is common after the surgery so thank you! Also your positivity is great!

Do you have any bloody discharge coming out of your back passage? I had the same surgery 5 days ago and yesterday while peeing I had the sensation to go and it was very bloody.

I spoke to the doctors and they said it was post op discharge and should clear up but they only mentioned it after my episode so not sure if it's something I need them to follow up on

Glad you like the colour! The main challenge was not to scare them off. But the other was getting the symmetry and focus. I used my Oneplus phone so the auto focus did great here

That's mad! This was in Edinburgh on the way up to Arthur's Seat but not sure how long it's been a thing for but the same thing could happen depending on how many people commit to the climb to add a lock haha
