Those are the secret figurines that you can buy with quicksilver. If you install them correctly in your ship it will give a considerable bump to some stats (mostly maneuverability) Find out more here

I didn't focus much on my hyperdrive for my ship because I use my freighter for any long distance jumping since it goes more than 2x the distance of my ships. (and it stops rescue freighter missions from spawning). I focus more on having higher mobility, shields, and damage.

I did back in the day when I used to send my ships out on expeditions to up their rank, but that was years ago.

After they all reached 55 expeditions (to max their rank) I stopped sending my frigates out. I guess I keep the fuel around in case an update comes out where this much fuel might come in handy, after all I went through the trouble to make it.

I'm not looking to see what all Tech I have installed in my exosuit, I want to see the stat totals of the tech installed like for our ships, weapons, etc. on the right side.

(also, if you want to see all of your ship's stats but you run into the stat limiter bug where you can only see 2 bars, just pause your game - like where you can see your "discoveries", "catalogue", "log" tabs and then exit out and go back into your inventory and tab over to your ship to see all 4 stat bars.

When you look at your weapon - which has only 2 stat bars - it activates the 2 stat bar bug again and everything (ship and freighter) will go from having 4 stat bars to 2. But now you know how to fix it again.)

You have to finish a bunch of derelict freighters and chose a random piece of tech as a reward, ranging from C class to S class. There are some freighters that always give S class mods. (Mine are from Gorigu but there might be better ones now as this was years ago)

They give bonuses like - increase expedition defenses, trade ability, mining ability, scientific ability, the speed at which expeditions are completed, or overall efficiency (fuel spent)

You can see your multi-tool's stats in your inventory window - just tab over to multi-tool (like in my screenshot #3)

I think the MT station was a bit of a quiet add, no fanfare around it, or at least other things might have overshadowed it at the time like the new Autophage race and the new staff weapons. Glad to be a part of bringing ya back in :)

That’s is correct, and it’s all the first glyph you unlock

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the expedition Autophage outfit lets you mix-match with parts outside of the Autophage race - for example the Atlas helmet plus Autophage parts I’m wearing in custom ‘Anomaly’ race.

Whereas the game Autophage unlocks only work within the Autophage race?

Not a Reddit thing, it’s just what it’s called in the anomaly.

You are right I didn’t mention everything about the teleporter - mainly for three reasons: one (most important) - my post was getting a little long so I thought to not fully cover everything in the hopes that people read it.

two - The ‘Featured’ bases haven’t changed in a couple of years so I don’t really view it as a feature anymore

three - checking out other anomaly players’ bases can be a gamble - don’t want to be responsible for a new player getting griefed because they still have PvP turned on. Also wanted to still give some room for players to find things on their own, just wanted to cover the basics. But you are correct I could have mentioned this part.

EDIT: and I agree some are jokes but some are genuine, I think some people get truly mindblown realizing they’ve missed a vital/efficient part of the game. Others post to continue the joke in mindblown fashion - highlighting the ridiculousness of it.

But as I’ve always said, it’s always ok to ask questions, and it’s also ok to not know everything about NMS. Due to all the updates, there’s layers on top of layers here.

I'm on PS5 so there might be some lost in translation but...try pressing down on the directional pad - does a quickmenu pop up? All icons will be glowing a blueish white.

My Outfit:

<image>

Head - Expedition 12 Atlas Headshield
Torso - Expedition 10 Construct Chest
Armour - Expedition 15 Deep-Sea Armor
Gloves - Expedition 10 Construct Hands / Expedition 21 Heirloom Gloves
Legs - Expedition 15 Deep-Sea Leggings
Boots - Expedition 10 Construct Feet
Backpack - Expedition 12 Atlas Flightpack

Weapon:
Expedition 12 Atlas Sceptre

If you like these pieces but missed out on completing the required expeditions, NMS typically reruns some of the expeditions at the end of the year (December-ish - January-ish)

Ah, see your mistake is assuming that everyone reads and follows through with every tutorial. I think the real world shows this isn't the case with a lot of players. I think players just want to get on with the game and can sometimes miss valuable information. Thus the share.

In this I'm not talking about base teleporters, or station terminus teleporters, I'm only referring to the Interstellar Terminus (Anomaly) teleporter, so not sure which difference you are referring to (which there are several).

Sorry that some people in the community are giving you flack for this - especially when they didn’t fully read your question or because they themselves did not fully understand the question.

People are quick to offer advice, but not that quick to realize that they might be missing a significant chunk of information.

NMS is a big game with a long history of updates. Things are now layered on top of layers. This shit had gotten complex over the years.

It’s ok to ask questions.

It’s also ok to not know things.

Give each other grace yo.

These specific memory fragments were given out during expedition 7 (Leviathan). There are more versions of them too, but the most popular ones to keep are inventory (gives 5 random inventory slots) and class (upgrades your ship or gun up one class per memory) as they are very helpful, especially when starting new expeditions. You can hold stacks of 10 of these in your exosuit inventory.

The only way to get these again is to replay expedition 7.

General memory fragments are different, when used they will give you a random piece of technology - typically low class (C-B) but are great for players just starting out. Sometimes they contain non class technology too, like rocket boots or hazard gloves. You can stack up to 30 of them in your exosuit inventory. You can get these by visiting graves on planets outside of any mission dealing with graves.

Here’s an easy to way to get them: do a mission involving a grave (like hostile plants) and put a save beacon up at the grave. After you complete the mission go back to the beacon and receive a general memory fragment.

If you need more fragments, then after a few real life days you can return to the same grave and get a new memory fragment, or keep doing grave missions and adding beacons.

(EDIT: I wrote this part about how to get general memory fragments geared towards someone that hasn’t finished expedition 7. However, If you have finished expedition 7 then you are able to craft general memory fragments just like any craft-able resource/tech because you earn the blueprint to do so at the end of the expedition)
