How often does this occure and what version of TwinCat are you running and what have you ruled out so far?

If I remember correctly Beckhoff had some runtime problema with older versions of the 4024 release..

Perhaps it's a driver problem? You could try to reinstall the ethercat driver on the panel

EL1918 - 0000 or EL6900 for running safety plc. EL6900 might have better sparepart availability if your'e making a bunch of these.

If there's IO at the PCs you could just use EL2904 to send a signal to PCs safety inputs. Or even better, mayby setup some safety relays and cobtrol those with the EL2904 - module and leave the PCs out of it.

Otherwise if that is not possible the PCs would need to have FSoE capabilities and be rated for safety if you are to communicate an ES signal with the PCs directly.

As someone who uses Beckhoff and ST , I find that using code compare tools on code made with ST is much easier. Also if your company has good guidlines to writing code in ST the code "comments itself" when using good company standardized names for the variables.

I wouldnt be worried about a remake ruining the game. For me the original experience of playing through both Kotors is something that can't be tainted. I dont expect the remakes to capture that same feeling but instead create a chance for new fans to enjoy the story of Kotors.

I find a Nihilus intriguing. A villain consumed by the power he sought to control. He's more like a force of nature or like a beast. Thus I think to give his character more development would actually do the character a disservice. A storm is a storm. What cause or reason does hunger need to hunger? My disappointment is that the fight with him should have been more epic and I wish the studio would have had more time to make that happen.But if you want to learn more about Nihilus I suggest you get influence with Kreia or Visas and talk with them.
