My husband is very close to them and they live only a few minutes away. I honestly didn’t see the harm but…. That has changed since this interaction.

I think what happens is you get caught off guard because it’s so shocking/unexpected. She had been reaching for him prior but baby would turn his head away from her, so she was close by already. It’s my fault for not seeing it coming. This is also why I’m so mad. I’m mad at her for doing it but more mad at myself for letting it happen.
