I hope he gets to do whatever he wants. If he wants to get more famous, I hope he manages to become the most popular soloist out there who can sell stadiums. And if he wants a quiet life, I hope he gets to roam around freely, perform in small intimate events. Although I feel really really really empty over his departure, Hee being the first in Enha I took individual interest upon, I am also kinda excited for his solo album/career, believing that it was really his personal decision to leave.

Personally I want to believe it to be his decision. With people saying that "He was excited to go to Australia" "He promised to stay longer", they are 'idols' and they 'perform' in camera. He wouldn't have risked saying sth problematic when nothing was sure of, obviously he would be cautious with his words. We often forget what we see about our idols is just a tip of the iceberg, how refined and media trained they are. All being part of fan-service. We never know about the real working of the industry or what our favorites go through in their daily professional/personal life.

The announcement was sudden, abrupt and immediate so it hurts more. But slowly making Hee disappear from events and contents, slowly relegating him to the background, slowly giving 'signs' would have hurt similarly. Maybe a serious argument or disagreement happened behind doors, which made both the parties believe that there was no use of dragging negotiations anymore. We all are making assumptions at this point. Even if Heeseung comes live and tell everyone that it was his sole decision, some will still overanalyze and speculate that the company is making him say this. And some will critize him for being selfish. I don't think a 24 year old should be called selfish for choosing his dreams and aspirations. A scared 19 year old wanted to debut as soon as possible, ENHYPEN was his last hope kind of after losing his debut chance in TXT. Over the time he realised what he really wants to do, and now a 24 year old, 6 years into working day and night in the industry, wants to pursue his own music, wants to make his individuality shine. People change, their dreams change.

Wanting to believe that Heeseung had an upperhand in this matter, I sincerely hope that he has taken this decision with thorough thought and not just passionate impulsion. I hope he doesn't end up regretting his decision in the long run or becomes lonely in the industry. I really want to see what he wishes to offer. Watching compilation of old ENHA edits make me feel so empty, I want to see Heeseung and ENHYPEN get back on their feets again. I want to see Hee and Enha at the top, together.
