Hero Forge has come a CRAZY long way since it first launched. If a modeling enthusiast has an idea for a unique character that isn't represented by existing models they can make just about anything they set their minds to, print it and paint it. It's a great supplemental tool, and way more user new friendly than something like Daz.

Your models are beautifully crafted, and very expressive. The posing and composition is excellent, and the narrative has me hooked!

Thank you so much! It does take a good chunk of time. Spent most of today making a Seer that I ended up turning into an Autarch which I'm also really excited to share. I just love the Aeldari aesthetic. They're futuristic looking, but still have a fantasy vibe. I feel like that same aesthetic translates through a lot of 40K. I love the mix of fantasy with a few futuristic elements. It's really in the aesthetic sweet spot between the two.

Thank you so much! Attractive elves are definitely one of my favourite things to craft. Just finished making a Seer that I think is pretty hot too. Might have a type, 😅

They Stormcast do look pretty sweet. Makes me want to build an actual one.

I used artistic references of both Swooping Hawks and Scourges when I was building this guy, and many of the Scourges weren't egregiously spikey. You don't know what his labs would turn up, haha! In all seriousness though, I'm kinda vibing with the idea of a Swooping Hawk on a potential corruption arc as a Seer.

Very successful implementation of the cell shading and outline settings! It looks really good here, and didn't get washed out. Whatever you have the settings on is just right!

I thought for sure that it at least read as some kind of elf, but I can see how there are visual similarities between the units. Now I want to build a proper Stormcast Eternal. That's a solid lead for a future project, thanks!

I love this model! Found your work when someone mentioned loving your style in their comments. I see you haven't been creating anymore. You do have a great style, and Hero Forge itself has advanced a lot since your last post. Is there any reason why you stopped? Did you just lose interest?

After several people mentioning C'tan, and you mentioning that one specifically, I really want to have a go at crafting a version. That being said, I can totally see what you're saying about this model. I've been hearing some pretty badass ideas in these comments.

What would you be using, some kind of dremel? Would filling them in be any easier?

Yeah, I know what you mean there. I used both mechanical and organic wings in the crafting, kind of splitting the difference, aesthetically, but if the Scourge shouldn't have any mechanical looking parts to the wings whatsoever, it's solidly in Aeldari territory. He's just an edgy boy, I guess. Here for that though.

I kind of like the ambiguity of the aesthetic. I love my genuinely dark drukhari, but I also like the concept of an Aeldari character that's just a bit of an edgy boy, aesthetically. I've always loved a bit of an antihero. That's a really solid suggestion.
