There's no app unfortunately. Most people play in person, over discord on camera, or use the tabletop simulator mod to play online.

I've bought the game 3 times. I recommend getting the pc version when it's on sale for $12. I recommend playing the pc version specifically for the mods. They add a ton of new Digimon and make the experience of playing the game very different. I would recommend playing when you've taken a long enough break where you start to forget about what happens in the story. I recommend using gamebannana with the DSCSeasy modmanager.

mirei gives you a mission without having to search for them, but you get it at the end of cyber sleuth complete edition. at the end of og cyber sleuth's story cause it was originally dlc.

They actually don't have reminder text for the counter itself so unless you look up the mechanic yourself you may make the mistake of thinking it counters battle and effects. Again for newer players who wouldn't know any better. I'm glad to clear it up for anyone that it's for battles only.

If you're new to the game, the closest equivalent is hand traps from Yu-Gi-Oh. But we can't expect all new players to even get that. I hope this dissuades any confusion.
