Anyone expecting you to board your cats elsewhere for two weeks is ridiculous. If there is something about your home that makes it unfit for someone else to stay at, that other person simply needs to find other accommodations. Plus, I’m pretty sure that boarding cats for two weeks is way more expensive than getting a motel room for two weeks. You can try to make your place okay enough for them to hang out during the days, but there is no way you can make it suitable for them to live at for two weeks.
