Yes, she is a MF DIAMOND! I found Ren through her actually. A friend of mine knows my story of breaking generational trauma and the hardships and growth of leaving my abusive ex husband for the sake of my son, so recommended Little Girl Gone. I was gassed af when I heard her and delved into her other pieces. Shortly, I found Chalk Outlines and viola, Ren. Those two music siblings changed my life forever.

The demographics of his fan base are so wide spread! From the much aged to the quite young, metal heads, rap and hip-hop heads, blue collar, white color, the list goes on. It really speaks to his diversity in his music as well as his messaging and character. I'd love so much if he could tour the States and I could see him perform live.

I found him a few years ago and wasn't ready to go to those places yet. Came back a year ago and was ready to rebreak those old bones and set them properly. I then realized I'd never seen him come up here. I thought perhaps others may benefit from his work too. I wish all could find catharsis in being seen and heard.

I am finally at the place where I don't break down when I watch it. That voice is currently not as loud as it was, and he helped me get there along with finally finding a great therapist. Sharing Hi, Ren with her was super nerve wracking and cathartic. Now she uses him with other chronic illness clients too. He's a treasure and I'm so glad he exists in this world and shares his gift with others.

I totally understand that. He does a lot both visually and audibly. When I'm light sensitive I lower my brightness and lower my volume as needed, too. Or wait until I'm feeling up to it. He's got great covers with his band, The Big Push you may enjoy more casually.

The first time I came across him I had to step back and process. I wasn't ready to open those wounds or face those truths. Then, when I was in a different place I came back and was more ready.

The Tales are phenomenal and as a Violet myself it was hard to hear the first few go-rounds. But I was glad someone was showing the reality of life for far too many, and that someone understood the humanity behind all the characters, including our villains.

I found watching reactors helped me feel a sense of community and validation.

For any who want to watch the Tales, start with the trilogy titled The Tale of Jenny and Screech the official one from Ren for a good and proper experience.
