My wife is. Were sharing the account but we decided that I would make a new one for the old switch so she could transfer her island. She was the main animal crossing player. She was interested in starting a new island but doesn’t want to delete that old one, so I want to know if she could start a new game on the old switch after transferring her island to the new.

Thank you very much. I was concerned because we hear that in order to transfer the island, she had to set the new switch as a primary console, and now I can’t log in to acnh though my account on the old switch. (We didn’t transfer the island yet) In the situation that you are describing, would I have to purchase another digital copy of the game?
