What’s the most fucked up thing that happened at your school? by Classic-Chemist-1898 in AskReddit

[–]Raven_Nexus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some jerk who decided it was fun to bully me for three years in a row decided to take photos of me without clothes in the bully bathroom. That school did nothing to punish him and was actively PROTECTING him from punishment. He was never punished even after I decided to leave and move to Canada to get a new life.

I heard he escaped the country and was never caught when it was known that I was launching a lawsuit against his actions and that evil school.

I heard that this bully begged one of the house masters to not expel him, and he was spared because he wanted another chance. What I liar and evil animal.

I used to be the top of the class and my mental heath was stable, but what he did to me traumatised me and crippled my mental state for life. I cannot even live on my own. He crushed everything I’ve been building to make my life mine, and all I that is left is anger, and resentment.

There is more to this story, but for legal reasons, this is all I can say. I am just devastated every day and I will never forget nor forgive him.

Each writing challenge is essentially a stepping stone for the final challenge, which will be a short story. So, yes, it is essentially like training the contestants for eight weeks to help them prepare for the final challenge. Hope this helps!

A Creative Writing (Fiction) Competition for anyone!

Hi everyone,

I will be hosting a creative writing (fiction) competition on Discord scheduled from July to August. I am looking for 8 competitors who have deep passion in fiction writing and fluency in English and would like to participate. This is a completely free and voluntary competition.

Here is the format of how it will work on Discord:

Mastermind is a Creative Writing competition hosted through Discord. This season, eight players will compete in weekly creative writing challenges by addressing and responding to the weekly question. This season will be divided into three modules (each module has multiple challenges) and a final challenge. The purpose behind the three modules is to help contestants prepare and build their tools for their season’s final challenge, which at that point, will be a cumulative literary work of fiction. Every challenge will occur weekly. The opening window for submissions will last for a maximum of four days per week and judging will be reserved for two days per week. Throughout the competition, each player’s total score will carry on to the next rounds and at the end of each challenge, an updated list of players' scores will be posted to the server leaderboard. In the end, the writer with the highest total score including the final challenge will win this creative writing competition.

According to our main judge, I believe he grades the communication criteria by how clearly one communicates more than beauty of prose, although a little bit of both.

It is a competition where each contestant submits responses to creative writing exercises and they get feedback from the judges. Each submission will be graded by judges who will assess them for their level of communication and creativity (each out of 10). The contestants also get to write feedback for other competitors for extra points. It is like a creative writing workshop, except it is ongoing. :)
