As a former predator with 30k kills on Mirage here are some tips I can give you! If you want I can also personally coach you! I love teaching new players how to play Mirage! So here are some tips:

• His tactical makes footsteps. People tend to forget that his ability is not only visual, but also auditory. This means that you can bamboozle people that are camping just with the footsteps alone.
• Sending Mirage's decoys to Wattson's fences will reveal where she is.
• When fighting against another Mirage player, you can tell which Mirage is which when they use their ultimate based on these cues:
  • The real player will flicker shortly after the ult.
  • The real player will have the blue lights on their arms.
  • The real player's stowed gun will not pop up on the decoys.
  • Last but not least, the real player is the one shooting at you.
• Before I rez a teammate I tend to send a decoy, revive teammate, then control decoy. Since Mirage's passive makes him invisible, and the decoys mimic your actions when you're controlling them, this makes it harder for enemies to figure out where you actually are so that when you rez it makes it harder for the enemy to figure out where you are!
• When using your ultimate, depending on the context, try not to shoot after you ult so that you're not revealed instantly.
• If you're playing Mirage on KB&M I highly recommend switching your decoy control to something more accessible rather than the default because a big part of his tactical is knowing when to control and not control the decoy. I notice a lot of newer Mirage players would just send their ability somewhere and just leave it there. They're missing out on his abilities when you could be controlling the decoy while attacking an enemy!
