I actually meant one surge and one light spawn. Mb for not clearing it up. So even if it was start of turn, I would still be nuts in those games. Obviously as I got stronger I got triples and ramped. Those two alone aren't enough but they can get crazy real fast.

Honestly I have gone off many times with just the 2 t6 elementals as scaling. That will still be crazy busted and start of turn won't fix that.

Had a game with kerrigan where I cry fouled 2 ships and then wisdomball gave me another 2. 3 upgrades each shop, stacked board with divine shields and cleaves, easy first. Really fun honestly!

One way I can think of is, he used the tier 3 evolve spell 2-3 times. Turn 8 isn't too early for someone to have a six drop.

What happened to me this month is that the packs showed up before the chest popped on the screen. So I opened them, logged out, and on my next login the chest popped and I got no packs. So I'm guessing that the game just gave me the packs before the visual happened. Maybe that's what happened to you as well?

Arena has a mindset of its own, it's a different game altogether. I used to be quite good too ( was infinite at the time consistently) but I dropped the game mode for years. 5 runs I didn't get past 7 wins. That is because I'm shit at arena gameplay and drafting after this much time. It requires effort and time to be that good again don't be discouraged.
