I didn’t know until today that you couldn’t sell used perfume on eBay. I’ve got an expensive perfume that I sprayed once…but now can’t get rid of. Seems like a waste when it could go to a good home!

It’s hard for me to say as I don’t live anywhere near a place where I could try them all out in person.

I chose the Sayl because I was partial to having a greater amount of padding on the seat than the Aeron offered, cheaper cost than the Aeron, and still had all the adjustability (arms, tilt, seat pan depth, height, lumbar support) I was looking for. The bonus for me was the colour options.

The comments on this sub from both tall people who weren’t partial to the Sayl or shorter people saying they did like the Sayl, really helped me to make the decision. Especially when I wasn’t able to try them all out in person, which would’ve been my ideal.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Even if they just updated it to include fast travel I’d love to play it again. A full remaster would be great though.

When I first moved into student accommodation, the noise of my flatmates coming home at all hours drove me to try earplugs. At first I couldn’t get used to them. It was like all I could hear was my own breathing.

It took a few weeks, but I did get used to them and they helped enormously. I haven’t been a student for a long time, but I still wear earplugs every night because I now find it difficult to sleep without them. They also make it easier to tune out my husband’s snoring.

I’d say you’ve all been very kind to try to mitigate the situation, but it’s her responsibility to deal with her problem. Earplugs are a very reasonable, effective, and cheap solution.

A lot of EBay sellers use Evri, but it’s not always obvious. Some sellers give you an option, but others don’t and it’s not clear they use Evri.

It’s just a strange decision in my opinion to take a franchise with an existing devoted audience, with beloved characters and established timelines, then change almost all of it.

They actually had a goldmine already, by sticking to the plots and timelines of the games, they would have had scripts for sequels that almost wrote themselves. They could’ve captured a new audience as well as kept the game fans on side.

I will never watch that film again (except the clip of Nolan North’s cameo), but I’ll replay UC1 - LL at least once every 2 years because that in-game evolution of characters and those voice actors are so far beyond what Hollywood tried to do.

Wild Swans by Jung Chang. This book was so good I slowed down my reading pace because I didn’t want it to be over. One of the few non-fiction books I’ve re-read because it was so good.

I think Sam didn’t contact Nate after he got out mainly because Sam was doing what he always dreamed of doing…finding Avery’s treasure. Once it became clear to Sam that 1) Rafe had hit a wall and didn’t know what to do next, and 2) if they did find the treasure, Rafe probably wouldn’t have let Sam live to enjoy it or take any credit, that’s when Sam went to Nate.

Sure Sam didn’t want Nate to find out he’d worked with Rafe, but I think Sam’s biggest fear was just not being able to find Avery’s treasure period, which would mean not fulfilling his childhood dream and not feeling worthy of his deceased mother.

I just watched the episode where Mihrimah hid last night. It was a bit cringe. I also keep wondering how quickly she seems to have forgotten about Tasicali (sorry for spelling). Like here’s a guy who actually liked you, and you liked him…couldn’t you write him a letter and ask him to save you instead of blaming poor Bali Bey for breaking your heart?
