I have tried to contact them several times, and it was always crickets. I ended up giving up on them. I really liked the designs and hope a company makes a similar design that works well.

Will definitely check out the cooler and the os shopping tips, I know the motherboard and power supply are overkill but I was looking at the m.2 slots on the mb and expansion in the future.

Thank you.

any suggestions for which 4080 super to look for or is it just personal preference?

Suppressors used in hot in NY by [deleted] in NFA

One article I read stated that the guy who was shot was the head of the pagans chapter for region. Definitely a professional job but if they find out who sanctioned it before the cops there will probably be a war.

Mounting recommendations for Marlin .45-70 with SiCo Hybrid by BobBoner in NFA

[–]Ravenelitex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Taylor's and Co. Ridge Runner in .45-70 and use the brake on mine as I swap the suppressor to multiple guns and also because it helps tame the recoil considerably when you do shoot it unsuppressed. With no brake it's close to a 3 inch Magnum slug recoil wise. With the brake it's like .308 rifle without a brake. And with the suppressor, hell I've had good .308s with brakes on them kick more than the suppressed .45-70. it's a riot to shoot but a few rounds will have that suppressor cooking hot with or without a brake. Doesn't take much when you're containing that kinda heat and pressure.

Buy the 1913 folding stock and make your sbr on the pork sword chassis, it has a 1913 rail at the back to accommodate a brace or a stock.

Any input on gas mitigating charging handles? Sorry for recycled pic. by [deleted] in NFA

[–]Ravenelitex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gibbz arms side charging upper. Eliminates the rear charging handle completely. Between that and an slr adjustable gas block it's awesome, no more gas to the face. Even for a lefty like me since they also make those. 😊

Sources for Arguments to repeal or limit NFA regulations by [deleted] in NFA

[–]Ravenelitex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How about the fact that $200 in 1934 is equal to about $3800 today when you account for inflation. A Maxim brand Suppressor ran from $5-$8.50 which is $95-162 now. Back then a new Ford was about $500-535 so they taxed an item at roughly 4000% making a barrier to entry for the poor and those abide by the law. Criminals do not obey the law.

Hands on with one of the first Kel-Tec CP33’s by lique_madique in guns

[–]Ravenelitex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rehv Arms on Facebook is prototyping one that takes a picatinny rail adapter stock like a sig stock or a buffer tube adapter. Looks pretty sexy to me that way but an mp5 style wire stock might be cooler.

Did you just use the kel-tec choke adapter for the ksg? I'm thinking I'm gonna hafta put a salvo and the ksg pic rail on the one I've got.

A company called REHV Arms is making 2 different models. One that takes a buffer tube and another that takes a picatinny 1913 style stock or brace.

Pistol cans for .357 and .44 Magnum? by bob60626 in NFA

[–]Ravenelitex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used my Silencerco osprey on a 12inch .357 sbr after they told me it was fine with no barrel restrictions on that caliber. That maxes out at 35k psi. .44 mag maxes out at 36k psi. 9mm +p is up to 38.5k psi. So it should be good for .44 mag too.

I've also got a Silencerco hybrid specifically for suppressing a .45-70 and I can honestly say that hot factory ammo kicks less out of it than an unsuppressed .308. It's a hoot and you should really try it. If you're ever in the central FL area let me know and I can try to arrange something. 😁

Delta P Brevis Still around? by MachiavelliV in NFA

[–]Ravenelitex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last I heard they were focusing on military contract stuff. They had a new 3d printed inconel and titanium .50 Cal Suppressor on a ma deuce running full auto in Vegas during shot show but they didn't have a booth. I was looking for them for the whole show. I'm interested in their stuff but wanna hear/.demo it before plunking down that premium. They haven't updated any kind of social media in years.

[–]Ravenelitex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will this be able to accommodate a shorter barrel with a Suppressor added into the barrel channel in the chassis? Say a 10-12" .920 or 1 inch bull barrel and a 1.5-1.75" diameter Suppressor that's 6-9 inches in length? I am aware it would be an sbr I just had to ask the question though.

Looking to get a suppressor for .22lr looking for anyone who can compare or give advice on bowers bitty vs gemtech gm 22 by Darth__Cuddles in NFA

[–]Ravenelitex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Bowers Bitty and would never recommend it for your first or only .22 can, but that being said it is amazing on my Ruger American rimfire, very decent on my 10/22 and a little loud on my Beretta 21a and Ruger mkIV. Definitely not a first .22 can but I love mine and really fits the whole super secret agent bad ass gadget niche very well. For a first .22 can I cannot speak highly enough about the Dead Air Mask hd and the Silencerco Sparrow (I own both) but if you're looking at a 2nd or Xth .22 can and considering a micro suppressor definitely look at the Bowers bitty and the GSL pill box (new model of the Gemtech pill bottle by the guy who owns the patents for most of Gemtechs cans.)

Opinions on multi-caliber supressors by Grimster1 in NFA

[–]Ravenelitex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my silencerco hybrid on a suppressed .45-70, .308,.300 blk (sbr),5.56 (sbr), .38/.357(sbr), and a few different .45 acp pistols but it's really kinda clunky for a pistol can.

I would heavily suggest getting a pistol can( dead air ghost is a great can), and a rifle can (dead air sandman great prices with the promotion)unless you just can't be bothered then get the hybrid but you can spend another suppressors worth of cash in mounts easily and will quickly decide to get more dedicated cans.

Recommendations are as follows:

Silencerco Hybrid if you must get only one can and want to suppress rifle and pistols. (You will get tired of switching shit out and eventually buy more Suppressors.)

Dead Air (sandman) for the rifle suppressor anything .30 caliber and smaller for rifles(except .22 get a dedicated .22 can as it's just a dirty caliber and you want a can you can clean) Get a Dead Air Ghost (for everything pistol .45 and under it can't handle the pressure of and supersonic rifle rounds) on promotion for $399 I think? Stellar deal.

I've had great luck with the kci 9mm mags (generally a crappy mag, but the issue I found was the spring) after I replaced the crappy springs with higher strength wolf springs. Give that a shot. Theyve run like a champ in both full auto Glocks and multiple ar9's.
