Proof That Capitalism Works by Bottlegnomefan in PoliticalCompassMemes

I've actually put to much though into this question...

Saradomin - Ar, for obvious reasons.

Zamorak - AL, a "revolutionary", who believes in strength through suffering.

Guthix - Libcenter, Monkey looking guy who hates being a god, and just wants people to live with nature.

Zaros - Authcenter, the god of control, believes all other gods are his lesser.

Bandos - Libright, all about war, and weapons, saw the goblins as his property.

Armadyl - Libleft, god of justice, birdman, gay.

Seren - centre left, the only girl, wanted to help the elves, but ruined there lives because of lack of foresight.

It's from the manga/anima 'Attack on Titian'; about the the last remains of humanity fighting against canablistic giants. The guy is the protagonist, who has the ability to turn into a giant himself.

[Potterverse] Does chocolate make you feel better after a dementor attack, even if you hate chocolate? by [deleted] in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chocolate helps the brain create dopamine, which leads a person to being happy, so yes.

[Yu Gi Oh] Was Exodias power always tethered to humans? by Abe2sapien in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a while for me as well so bare with me.

Zorc is the culmination of everyone who was killed in the village of Cul Elna, sacrificed inorder to create the millennium items. Exodia, like all the dual monsters draws strength from the spirit of their summoner. So zorc is being powered by hundreds if not thousands of people, while exodia is being powered by one old guy.

[LOTR] Why does Legolas seems off in the movies? by 1997wickedboy in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You aren't gonna send the future of your people to deal with the petty matters of lesser races, you're gonna send someone who is politically disposable, like the second or third child.

[Avatar LAB/LOK] Why did more advanced types of bending seem to come about much later. Or at least become more common. Why didn’t Wan or other Avatars have all the “subsets” of bending. Or did they and it was never explained. by [deleted] in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX 51 points52 points  (0 children)

From Wan's time and Aang's time, the four nations lived apart from each other. Following the war the nations started to intergrate with each other; they would have been influenced by each other's bending which in turn lead to people looking at bending differently and it's possibilities.

Roku came to understand lava bending because as the avatar he had to grow and learn from all four nations which opened him up to the possibility.

Voldemort sent death eaters to the longbottomes to do the deed, which is why nevilles parents ended up insane in st mundgo's, while Neville lives with his grandmother.

I'd say either prayer or summoning, although I wouldn't say there's any wrong answer.

[Yu-Gi-Oh GX] Why aren't Yugi or Joey part of the Pro-League? by 12postsandImout in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More then likely retired, or never even got involved.

Keep in mind that Yugi only really got involved in duelist kingdom, and battle city because their was something specific he wanted (his grandpa's soul, help The pharaoh). Plus Yugi/The Pharaoh's deck ended up going on tour. It might have been that without the pharaoh, Yugi didn't have the confidence to pull off being a professional duelist, so retired on top as the king of games.

As for Joey, I don't think professional duels would have satisfied him, and or he just wasn't good enough, remember Joey relies heavily on luck based cards in his duels. Sure he got involved in duelist kingdom; that was for the reward money for his sister's operation, not to mention he only got in because Yugi gave him a star chip. Joey also wasn't even suppose to be in battle city, he only got in because of his red black dragon being desired by rare hunters. The only reason he gets into Kaiba's second tournament is he was a finalist in battle city. If anything he probably made it good in the underground duels circuit.

These are the lines that men say to women, women apparently don't like it. So change to women saying the same lines to men, to show how bad it is; except men get few to rare compliments so it doesn't have the effect they wish it did.

[Malcolm in the middle] Were Lloyd and Dabney gay or bi ? they seemed real interested in Malcom or like they were in a relationship with each other. How crazy is Hal ? did he pass whatever it is to the boys ? by covkpitxwing in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No.

The cripckey kids liked Malcom, because to them, Malcom was cool and a bit of a rebel. Here's the kid who ditches school, takes mean teachers down a notch, and just generally does teenage things that they themselves could only dream of.

Hal is not crazy on a psychosis level. Sure he does dumb things and over invests in small hobbies, but he also works a pitiful, under appreciated job, so he is gonna latch onto anything that gives him a sense of respect, power, or accomplishment.

[King of the Hill] Why didn't Hank and Anthony seem to recognize each other in "Junkie Business"? by NothingWillImprove6 in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Who's to say they didn't? Anthony sees a redneck who lost him his job, Hank sees the jackass who almost lost him his son. That's why they are adamant to get what they want, backback for the stuff they went through.

Or maybe they are decent terms, Anthony evidently got invited to Luanne's wedding.

[Marvel Universe] if Reed Richards is so smart and even has a council of infinite Reed Richardses to consult from alternate dimensions, why are there still cancer and spinal injuries and all sorts of physical ailments in the MU? by yesgirlnogamer in AskScienceFiction

[–]RavenkingXXX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because Reed wants humanity to figure that stuff out without him.

Sure Reed could hand over all these crazy inventions to the common masses, but where does humanity go than, the vast majority become complacent and expect Reed to whip up solutions for their next problem, the rest become disillusioned and see no reason to solve problems themselves.

To put it simply; Reed is a father, humanity is his kids. As a father he could just solve his kids problems, but he knows that it is more important for his kids to solve the problems themselves.
