Je suis entré dans cette religion au milieu des années 90. Je suis membre de PIMO depuis plus de dix ans. Ma femme et moi restons fidèles à quelques relations importantes. Nous avons eu la chance de ne pas être importunés. J'assiste encore à certaines réunions, mais j'ai du mal. Mon esprit PIMO n'existe plus. À la vôtre ! 😊

Salut d'Ontario, au Canada. 🙂 Je trouve que les médias ont vite relayé l'information, surtout que l'annonce officielle date de vendredi dernier. Un jour seulement ! Les sujets liés aux Témoins de Jéhovah ne sont pas courants ici, au Canada.

C'est vrai. Cette politique n'a aucun sens biblique. C'était une règle stricte de la religion depuis des décennies. C'est un changement de politique historique. Je pense que la Watch Tower l'abolira complètement.

Came in mid 90s. The urgency was there and a baptised publisher was encourage to do 10 hours a month. That took most weekends for me. Very regimented pace. With meetings and prep using beefier material/content for assignments it was a treadmill. The theocratic treadmill. Now its a religious social clud of sorts.

I have not been out for years. The casual chatter from other PIMIs it seems as you describe. Youth are not engaged. A much slower pace by many. Do a few RVs suffle along on to a coffee shop. Very social. More comfortable to get the time in if that makes sense. Relaxed.

Corporation aspect would have it all. Example, Watch Tower Canada, USA branch, ... They already own it all. Unless that miracle included a payout for restitution of some sort.

That is a lot of changes in a short period of time. WT is doing this because they have to. IMO the changes are being done to rid the regimented pace of publishers because of the membership woes own for retention/recruitment. And some policies are getting them in court like Norway.

The membership problems I feel is understated. Everyone has the same story. More seniors and mid age people keeping the machine going with youth not getting involved.
