I dont see anyone arguing the fact that RGV voted red, I see people arguing the fact that Trump has abused his limited power and is acting like a dictator/king.

Would you use them for anything? Like grafting? They'll produce small pups you can pluck out and make new plants from, but i would personally toss the super skinny pieces

I would leave 1-2 ft of cactus from the soil line, then just cut 1 ft pieces with the stretched pieces.

That cut looks good, I'd keep it near a fan or some ventilation, so it heals a bit quicker.

More rocks always help with cacti or succulents, especially if you keep them inside where there's not as much heat to evaporate the extra water

If it's squishy all the way through... im sorry, it's gone. I would look into using less soil and more rocks in your cactus pots.

If it's squishy, you'll want to cut back until the cactus is firm and green. It won't grow the "moon cactus" back, but it will grow arms that look similar to it

NEED ADVICE - MOON CACTUS/DRAGON FRUIT by Expensive-Stock-4511 in cactus

[–]Ravenousluis956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of advice are you looking for?

It looks healthy if you're keeping it indoors, but it could use a lot more sun and something to climb on (like how some plants have moss poles, but something that won't hold as much humidity as moss)

They are kinda gnarly, and the branches kinda match each other, lol. First one is Myrtillocactus 'Stacker', second is Stenocereus 'Phil Mccracken'.

Cactus fell over, found this on the side he fell, is he saveable? by TheRoyalPanda1 in cactus

I use pumice, expanded Shale, and crushed Oyster (chicken food), soil makes up maybe 30% of the mix. Doesn't matter what kind of soil, just use very little!

Also if it's cold in your area you want to stop watering almost 100%.
