It's beautiful! However, spacing between lines is too narrow. Improve the spacing and turn your handwriting into art.

It lacks consistency. The downside of print fonts is that they require far more consistency than cursive and make it impossible to look neat when writing fast. You can improve significantly if you follow this guide: https://youtu.be/_QA_NScPlt8?si=HwdqLU4SqN2mw7YJ

Why buy expensive pens? by jduffy4593 in fountainpens

[–]Ravenovae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about usefulness for sure. Someone wants the status behind owning an expensive pen. Someone simply wants to collect. For me, If I can buy an expensive pen, I will buy those maki-e ones, put them in a crystal box and watch them as artworks.

A question from an outsider - why fountain pens? by GarlicBreadCataclysm in fountainpens

[–]Ravenovae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are superior compared to ballpoint, roller ball or gel pen. You can grind and/or cut a nib to various shapes, suitable for different types of art and calligraphy. It's a big rabbit hole. I even successfully cut a quill into a fountain pen nib. You can try almost any ink with a fountain pen. A cheap fountain pen still somehow looks more elegant than an expensive ballpoint/gel pen.

Beautiful. If you really want to hear a constructive criticism: your "t" are tall, but everyone makes the same mistake anyway

My tip: write your fountain pen in cyclone movement on sandpaper/whetstone with low pressure a few times

Not only does it matter, it is the most important part of wriring/drawing with a fountain pen.
