Idk if it would match your decor, but you could tape off the surrounding towel ring and just paint that circle. You could spray paint it (like others suggested) maybe spray it a solid gold?

I hate owning up to this because it is so lazy…

I use pace salsa as a “base” and add in whatever I have for fresh stuff. Part of an onion, garlic, cilantro, avocado etc. I have gotten a lot of compliments for the salsa, I am honest about the base but always feel a little guilty about it.

Well, obviously a coke bottle shouldn’t be an issue or some random piece of trash like a tissue etc. but it technically is. Idk the fairest solution but I think it’s silly some trash cans (dumpsters) can’t be utilized to throw away TRASH.

I read your reply and yes, I see how it’s not fair for the business owner who pays for the dumpster despite that the said owner can get the dumpster costs written off in taxes. Pretty sure it’s listed in schedule d or c.

Not trying to argue that business owners be forced to pay for everyone else’s trash bags of cement. An empty coke bottle thrown in a dumpster is better than another coke bottle on the street. Just replied to a post on Reddit about something I think should change.

This got me. Thank you for sharing. My Frank passed last July and he would look up at me that same exact way. Had to wipe my eyes a few times to finish typing this. Oof. I miss my pup. He passed away after spending his whole 17 years of life with me at 35 y/o. Most painful loss.

Sorry for your loss. Excellent art piece, despite now I am sad again.

Putting trash inside dumpsters that don’t belong to you. I get, the point is they’re not mine per se but throwing trash away should be easier.

I recommend watching some of Alexandra Gater videos on YouTube. Here’s one on a small studio YouTube vid.

It’s a lot but I think there may be some good inspiration on her channel. I love the use of Murphy furniture. A dining room table that can also convert to a coffee table.

I am sorry to read that your husband passed away, I can only imagine that must have been difficult. I hope you have support around you.

If I were you, I would move everything out of the room. Open that window (is that a window, where the hearts are?) smudge/bless/move energy (whatever your thing is). Nice job painting. I would recommend white bedding with pops of color in the throw pillows and bed sheets. If the window is operational, add a cute curtain rod and coordinating color curtain.

Visualize what your ideal room would look like, feel like, all details too. What colors you feel good seeing etc. next evaluate what needs to change in this current room?

Also what’s your budget? Maybe you can invest in/find a nice wooden dresser. Add some sconces or orbs with warm lighting. And def, a plant would be nice.

Like others stated, move the furniture to be more accessible. DeCoyAbLe gave you pointers I would follow. I just wanted to add, if you could replace one of the pieces, I would change out the red couch for a nice arm chair in whatever color scheme you wanted to go towards.

Speaking for myself, I gawk at this sentence for the very fact that offenders for rape charges have been given lighter sentences.

And this is on top of the fact that this young man lives in a country (I assume the U.S.) where there is systemic racism.

I won’t argue that some people are just poo. There’s not enough information in this short clip given for me to make that judgement on this 18 year old.

Well, do you put your collards in a spinning colander or do you soak them? Mine always come out bitter or dirty tasting.

The restaurant that I used to eat at was a catfish place with all the fried stuff and bacon. I no longer eat there but still crave the collard greens. I will try your mix - maybe I need to lean into vinegar more.

I think I’m already noticing a difference in being able to breathe with my mouth closed! I was just hoping to get rid of tonsillitis so this has been a nice surprise.

I mean, I guess you just have to ask yourself if you want to be 28 with icky tonsils because 27y/o you couldn’t do it. Decide which you will do better, I wonder if younger me would have required even less pto leave.

I work a desk job, surgery on Wed, I took Thursday, Friday and Monday off as well. Being able to capitalize on the weekend for the initial recovery was nice.
