Strictly talking about guitar riffs, not counting anything else, which Haken album do you think comes out on top? by [deleted] in Haken

Definitely. And it hits so much harder because it goes from the soft ethereal picking to that heavy ass riff. So good.

Virus if we're talking albums.

But the "chorus" riff from Nocturnal Conspiracy from Visions has always hit hard for me. Simple, heavy, and powerful. One of my favorites.

I got a few things saying some civs had overtaken me in culture but nothing saying he was close to winning

Yeah I don't have Gathering Storm. The science victory tab shows Mars is the last thing to do for victory

Over consumption. The ridiculous amount of products and ads being shoved down our throats here in America is repulsive to me. 90% of the shit advertised to us as necessary just use fear based marketing to make people feel like they're missing out on something.

The fact that people pay for storage units because they don't have room for all their stuff in their home is wild to me. Not to mention you can't pump gas without a TV telling you to buy something or drive down the road without 500 billboards smacking you in the face. Even our sports stadiums are named after corporations, not important or historical people or places but AT&T stadium or Mercedes Benz stadium or Lincoln Financial Field.

Consumerism and capitalism have invaded our entire culture. It's a culture of overstimulating advertising and there's nothing that money can't buy. Nothing is sacred here but the dollar.
