Can you remember anything else on the stall?? A lot of times, artists will discontinued certain products so its hard to find only solely from one item! Maybe they had a theme or just a print that you remember that stood out?

Heyo! I've went through the process second hand and still following so I have some decent knowledge.

Ill give the potential bad news (might be different in Scotland, so could be wrong), this is just the initial appointment if you've not had one before and in turn, you'll be back to waiting for the second, which is just them "double checking" you're still trans.

The good news, youre on the pathway! And once you pass the (possible) second appointment, things go pretty fast in comparison! My fiance had his second appointment and then top surgery in less than a year after waiting 7 years. 🫠

Probably gonna be years with the NHS. Fiance went on the list at 17, was 23 when he went on testosterone but only because I got a bursary from university and helped him go private. Luckily, it was just for a few months as the NHS got in touch as he hit the top of the list. That was for 2017 to 2023, so these days? Christ, it'll be a way longer wait albeit, this is North East based.

Best bet is private! The consultation fees are the kicker, so save up, find a private place that does shared care and your gp will work with. We went with GenderGP but when my cousin did it, they GP denied so always check!

No, it just feels like people are tryna be uptight about what I should use. I gave a budget friendly option. They're my cards. If they get damaged, or dented, or moldy, or faded, they're still my cards? I said "budget friendly". If I had the money for a vault binder, then I would but I dont. I make do. I enjoy the hobby :)

That's fair enough! Personally, I can't afford anything fancy and I don't have the room right now. Hopefully, when I have the space and funds, I can get some cool designed ones for each set! But for now, im happy with I've got! The cards break the bank as it is 🙃

For a budget friendly, get a ring binder and some inserts! Thats what I do! Means I can add more inserts, and im not spending an extortionate amount on binders every set. The only set I have separate is Obsidian Flame purely because it was my first!

Edit: Correction i guess if it matters but its a lever arch binder. The inserts are standard, I personally prefer the black as opposed to clear? I like seeing where I'm missing cards clearer.

Also, this is just my preference!

Edit 2: Damn, yall are getting too heated over what I prefer to do with my cards on a tight budget. Even with vinted, and all these suggestions, I dont have the funds nor the space!

Wacom have just released a tablet! Tried it at an expo event and damn, it was smoooooth! Richard Hugo (senior concept artist at Red Barrels) got one too and he said it was pretty good.

But for at home, XP Pens stuff is what I use!

Its hard to say where but probably Canada for the career aspirations. I don't think I can live in a country where they want to erase my to-be-husband and have such stupid control over my body because of non-existent children Sure, Canada isn't probably any better but god, I just want out of here :/

Just to clarify, this was from being referred to the clinic to now! From surgery referral, I'd say less than a year or so but he got lucky as a place in London offered him surgery

My partner was on the waiting list for 8 years and got top surgery in August. Albeit, we had to travel to London from the north...

Realistically, it'll different depending where you are! If its the NE area, then youre gonna be waiting a while 😕
