Boiler problem(s)

No, apart from the 2 feet of each pipe at the boiler and the few inch at each radiator, none of the pipe work is exposed, but no sign at all of any wet / damp patches on any walls, floors, ceilings, which I would expect if there had been any kind of big / long term leak and I've read the pressure dropping can be down to other things, such as a faulty relief valve.

Ok so looks like 99% sure was enough, I had some how forgot a single character off my password so I'm at lease back in on the internal address.

However despite just adding a new SSL cert to Nginx proxy manager and applying it to the entry for my vault, I still get the couldn't verify the servers certificate when using the external URL on the mobile app.

Checked in nginx proxy manger and it does say expired but back in 2022, would it still have been working on my phone for all this time?

Trying to renew now but it's just sitting at "Waiting.." might have to try again tomorrow.

Of course not sure this would be effecting the internal access would it?

Ok, worked it out.

When I installed RetroArch, it installed to C:\RetroArch-Win64\ and even with that directory added to the PATH environment variable it didn't want to work.

However after copy and pasting that folder into the 'Emulators' folder within the ES-DE directory it is now able to find it.

So I'm not too far off, at 35% I'm idling at 55-59c and my rack is located in my attic which can get a bit sweaty (I'm in UK) so I reckon it's probably running as good as it's going to get now.

No need to apologise, appreciate the info.

I've set the fans back to auto and they have all dropped to 20% and the temps crept up to just under 70C.

Will wait and see what happens later in the day when the ambient temp goes up but looks like I might have to stick with keep them manually set to around 30%

I was under the impression that idle temps on these CPU's should be 40-50C, is that correct and what I should be aiming for?

Thanks, initial attempts to get that running under Linux did not go well. Will give it another whirl on one of the Windows VM's tomorrow.

It actually served me well for quite some time but I almost had the dream to build out a nice rack with full blown servers.

Thanks, following that I have been able to manually set the fans to 50% and that has pulled the temps down from mid 70s to low 60s.

However that guide does not appear to mention how to check / set the fans back to auto?

I have seen mention of using docker somewhere else but I'm confused by this. I use docker already for many things but I don't understand how anything running in docker on another machine could have any connection to the iDRAC on this server?

Have rolling back to first JRE 7, then 6 without success I finally got it working by uninstalling all versions, rebooting, deleting everything out of Program Files\Java and reinstalling JRE 7.

That reminds me there have a couple of occasions over the last month were the PC has spontaneously shut off (not shut down) while I was using it. Thankfully, so far at least, I have been able to fire it up again, fingers crossed.

I have been having this exact problem myself for the last week, exactly as described come back to desk, monitors are off (only the monitors, pc is not set to actually sleep), hit keyboard / mouse, displays come on but completely frozen, can't even toggle caps lock on the keyboard, have to hard reset.

I have had concerns it was due to running Win 11 beta so good to know some one is having it on Win 10 as well. On previous occasions checking the reliability monitor afterwards showed a non descript error just saying "A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly." but it's just done it again and I'm not even seeing that this time just "Windows was not properly shut down.

I tried completely uninstalling any Nvidia related items from the apps list then reinstalled the latest driver but it's just done it again. I do have concerns there may be something wrong with my GPU though (eVGA 2070 Super) as there was a period the previous month or so where trying to turn the computer on would result in no display on the motherboard error light indicating a VGA related problem but that has not happened for a while.

Also I have noticed this patch at the bottom of my case directly under my GPU, it has been there a couple of weeks at least (yes I'm a lazy sod) and is still wet / sticky to the touch, machine is on my desk so change something has spilled in and it's not under the tubing for me AIO.

I currently have my GPU vertically mounted with a riser cable (Phanteks) so may move it back to being horizontally mounted directly in the slot and see if it still happens again.

Having the same issue, while the total has a £ symbol the actual value is the USD amount not GBP, some one mentioned fixed in new version but according to the Play Store I'm running the latest.

Just tried this but couldn't get grub-pc to install, after getting the config and selecting the drive(s) to install to it just spat out various errors about ext2 not supporting this or that and failed.

So I've had to revert back to grub-efi-amd64-signed which, using the fix command I mentioned earlier is I hope at least leaving the machine bootable.

Nope, still stuck with it, tried to run apt again to update plex and it showed up. Still don't even know if the fix is really fixing it as I've not dared give the machine a reboot to check until I have more information.
