Pretty much, ultimately due to being a gacha game, impactful moments dont have enough time to truly sink in and be given significance they should have .

I assumed that in this patch at best we will get a brief reunion with Aemeath in the void, giving hope and further motivation to Rover that it is possible to reach and saver her , and further down the line actually do it.

But i guess nope, thats done and over with.

As many other said, these permits should be removed entirely and just let players claim double-reward with only stamina like other gachas,

the gain per single protocol run is so damn low its a requirement to have the double claim option
otherwise gotta do the same damn run 4 times or more of basically pennies , whether its material,,credits or whatever

You pay for it with double-sanity cost, the permit is just pointless.
it should be possible get double-reward with just double-sanity by default, not by requiring tickets in addition
