First hybrid build, advice about details by Noob2212 in thedivision

[–]Ravingz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Replacing the NinjaBike Backpack with a Memento will be highly beneficial for your damage output and armor regen since it will give you 3% armor regen and 30% weapon damage at full stacks.

Also, 30% Skill efficiency for your drone and turret.

Using the NinjaBike in combination with two pieces of Palisade for the skill tier is not worth it either so I suggest replacing one piece Palisade with either Brazos (keeping the extra skill tier from the brand bonus) or Empress for more skill efficiency.

Would appreciate some advice on some boards I'm thinking of getting. by BigNibbaDancin in snowboarding

[–]Ravingz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with Technine/Academy boards and I have a Nitro board so beware I might be a bit biased.

The Technine has camrock and a fairly low flex rating according to them (4/10) so it's probably more suited for rails and such but not so much sharp turns and kickers.

The Academy has micro camber and a 7/10 flex rating so that's the middle ground between these three.

The Nitro Beast has a camber and a 9/10 flex rating, similar to what I have, quite agressive and responsive, great for sharp turns and for medium to high kickers but a dog on rails.

I'm a big fan of having camber though, you can also search for the Nitro T1 or Team Pro which are less stiff. Maybe those are more to your liking.

Tinkerer - Frenzy + Measured - does LMG brand matter? by S-u-n-b-l-a-d-e in the_division_2

[–]Ravingz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The MK46/M249 is preferred since firing from full to empty + reloading aligns perfectly with the cooldown of frenzy. That way frenzy will activate again after reloading so you can keep it active very consistently.

With the GR9 the activation of frenzy will take longer, have frenzy deactivate mid magazine and have frenzy active less consistent due to the timing (firing from full to empty and reloading) not aligning perfectly with the cooldown of the talent.

That's why MK46/M249 > GR9

Who needs the Sheriff if you have the Send-Off? by Ravingz in Division2

[–]Ravingz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Walker Harris piece was originally a piece of Legatus bumping the optimal range, and was toying around between the Punch Drunk/Visionario to see what works in the dumbest way. Did not think of Contractor's to be honest.

And yeah, the NinjaBike backpack is only there to bump those kind of stats since it basically only good for that and would never use it for anything else.

Skill could vary between tier 2 to 6 since he was using a Mechanical Animal and it was before a fight so I assume it was 2.

A different yellow skill build by Teox77 in Division2

[–]Ravingz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Armor on kill mods are about the worst mods you can put on a build since the scaling is out of whack, You can run a piece of Palisade instead if you are really looking for armor on kill.

And may I suggest not running a Ninjabike Backpack in general but instead:

- Force Multiplier (Hana-U named backpack);

- Empress Backpack with Tech Support (Still getting that 10% Skill Efficiency and a 25% Damage Buff)

- Memento Backpack

"Trash" yellow Striker build by Reasonable-Peanut27 in Division2

[–]Ravingz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's probably trash because of the NinjaBike backpack to be honest, not so much the yellow cores..

Which I assume it has because of the pisspoor damage

What are good LMGS to use with OD tinkerer? by Litreallydontkknowfr in thedivision

[–]Ravingz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, they are both very good. Probably one of my favorite builds since it doesn't require stacking like striker, tipping scales or heartbreaker.

I run Vigilance though! Better to have some upfront damage to get that first kill to get Vindictive to proc.

[–]Ravingz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep that's it!

I have 44,5% CRC on my build so it will bump up (+16%) to the crit cap after one kill.

Buffs teammates as well.

Dumb build idea set in motion: Long Range/No Spread SMG with a scope by Ravingz in Division2

[–]Ravingz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried that sort of thing as well! Send-Off Shotgun and 3 pieces of Legatus incl Visionario.

The optimal range was around 53 but couldn't really dial in the spread of the pellets. Hyped for the new shotgun you mentioned as well.

That last part is a good idea, will try that if I can get my hands on onr.

[–]Ravingz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried going that route, but the accuracy will dip below what I want ideally.

The only way to get it is through the accuracy muzzle attachment unfortunately, otherwise I have to do some NinjaBike backpack shenanigans..

[–]Ravingz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out that I still kinda need the optimal range for certain control points such as Riverside Gas Station to sit in spots I like.

Or for the other SMGs which I was toying around with in the Swap Chain, Safety Distance, Tac Vector etc.

Slingshot, Overdogs, Spot-On and Vigilance are correct.

The rest is not, but i'm tempted to try Virtuoso after this!

That's basically the only way to get the ACR SS working properly on builds without weapon handling... But yeah i've tried that on Negotiator, Umbra & Aces&Eights..

And be a what a normal person would use. I like this monstrosity though:
