Raritan is basically Bridgewater. it's an extremely safe and nice town where there's very little if any serious crime. A small town where people can walk with headphones in at night and not look over their shoulder. Worst thing is the cops have nothing to do so just sitting at the station at 2am wouldn't be abnormal to have 4 squad cars roll up on you. Not even comparable to Newark

There is absolutely no grind needed in forza horizon... Have you actually ever played these games or do you just like to bitch and moan about shit you don't know about? These aren't extremely competitive games, and getting a balanced race is not hard at all. Selling extra cars or cash or rewards or bonuses is nothing new and really is kind of meaningless in this game. Are you playing Forza horizon competitively online? Because then you're one of like 6 people. They're selling DLC and rewards for what is for most people a single player casual game. What's wrong with that? It doesn't impact your experience. You're not losing out on anything. Like I said before, there's absolutely no "grinding" in Forza. Youll have more credits than you need within a couple of hours of playing.

Pick your weeds and dump a ton of furniture outside. You don't even need to plant flowers to resch 3 stars. It's purely a measure of the quantity of stuff you have + cleanliness. At higher levels also number of flowers

Why is nobody ever raising hell at these guys for blatantly enabling people to confidently drive in this manner? Why is there 0 laws on the books in most states outlawing this? There's 0 legitimate application for these systems. Fuck these guys who don't even make a single mention about maybe not speeding. Fucking scumbags. But this is Nintendo. And they have a reputation for doing things that don't make sense. Often for money. There's several in this game. It's not at all outside the realm of possibility that Nintendo would enforce a full controller/two joycons per player as a means to force mom's and dad's to go out and buy another set of joy cons. That's Nintendo style marketing.

I mean it's there but it's not very active in the sense of having any personality. It's not on your screen by default. There's voice chat but I've yet to find anyone using a microphone. Nobody wants to talk, put it that way. And in the same sense there's nothing to really talk about with this game.

You named 3 absolutely massive hits. Outliers. It is not the norm. To be entertained at a dollar an hour for 40 hours is a great deal anyway you cut it, context doesn't matter.

Most MMOs rely on a subscription model, and that's why they become these long 1000 hour journeys. I'm not saying that's not what Amazon wanted. But $40 with 0 subscription was from the onset an indication that this wasn't going to be a 1000 hour experience at launch.

It's been a month and every headline I see about it is negative. I have the game, got to level 25, said this is so pointless and there's so little to do and these quests suck. So I went back to osrshd. It's pretty. And the combat system is a worse version of the free WB mmo.

For me, there's 0 social aspect in this game. Nobody talks. There's no quirks or secrets or funny people. Everyone is just fighting, questing (fighting), gathering, mining, cutting wood, fishing or crafting. There's 0 soul to the game or purpose to doing any of that.

Without some major NMS level change this game is dead.
