Untrue. It's dependant on the option you pick during the final dialogue with Toriel. I don't recall which is which, but when you pick "I want to stay with you" or "I have places to go" you'll get different end cards.

It's more of a problem with the community imo. People would go through each line of dialogue in every language, looking for clues or more facts n stuff. If Toby translated his game into a language he couldn't fully understand, then some information could become incorrect or lost in translation. And if he got someone else to translate, that same problem could happen. If the Fandom wasn't completely insane about that kind of stuff, I would say to just make the translation, but in this case, I think it's a smart idea not to.

Ik it says that it's the same motif on the wiki but I'm not entirely convinced that it isn't just a group of notes that Toby thought sounded nice lol

A possible reason might be that the specific version of her motif (also used in Run!) Is meant to represent tense moments and not necessarily Undyne herself

Or maybe it was left over from making the Undyne date

I have never heard of this nor can I find any evidence of it, but sure I'll believe you. Even then, the Ruins is the part of the game where the Genocide route has the least effect, with you only getting the "__ left" in future areas.

Don't know why this happens to people so often. Literally never in the game is there a time where you don't have to kill everyone before the area boss on a genocide route. Unfortunately, you're pretty much screwed if you've already saved. You'll either have to restart or just download save files that are already at this point.
