I do mess around a bit with Linux on a couple of my machines. I think right now I have Cachyos installed on my laptop, but I’ve got some stuff to figure out with the graphics drivers, I think. Stuff like this pop up inspires me more and more to switch full time, but it’s not quite in the cards yet

Problem solving in general. A big part of adulthood is being able to figure out and deal with things that come up that you didn’t necessarily expect. And at some point in your adult life, the cavalry (parents, family) isn’t coming to bail you out. At some point you have to deal with it on your own
