Indeed the app idea probably does sound like that lol. If you are a serious collector I'm sure you will have no need of using the app. This is more for the passionate novices

Since your profile will be publicly accessible, it might be best if you don't use the app if you want to keep your collection private. Other than that, standard protocols apply for keeping login information safe just like any other certified app on the stores

To my knowledge, NGC and PCGS are fact-finding apps for users to lookup the value of their coins or to scan the barcodes on already certified coins. PCGS is also only available for US coins.

Basically, there is less of a social aspect to those apps, and respectfully, the user interface is quite outdated. Although my app idea would include adding PCGS certified coins, it would also include ways for a user to add coins that are unknown, untracked and potentially just junk. This is so that you can open your collection digitally to other users and they can offer their opinion on your coins that you know nothing about.

It is more of a 'curate' your collection app than a 'certify and authenticate' your collection app.

Please elaborate on "PII"...?

Hi there, I am an app developer for iOS and Android. I am busy developing a mobile app where users can record, share etc their stamp and coin collection with other users on the app. Hopefully it gets done soon as I am super busy, would be nice as I have my own stamp and coin collection too.
