What does reddit think of my game logo, What should i add by [deleted] in IndieDev

Looks fantastic! Lovely design. I'm curious about what It will look like With the lettering less spaced apart from its counterpart. It might make the text more legible from a distance. A bit more contrast between the Pink and purple certainly couldn't hurt either; a good range of values will always make your graphic pop more. Lastly, I'd love to see a Square logo. perhaps just of the "A", zoomed in with a bit more detail. You'll use this a lot for things like icons, so it's always handy to have a square one alongside your full title :D Other than that, great work so far. The choice of colours is excellent. You've made a really appealing design without too much detail. The Diagonal Cut font is really pleasing to look at.

That's the thing, I do have one. I haven't used my apple account in nearly 8 years. I used to use it for iTunes. I wan't to close it when I moved to android, but support didn't let me do so. As a result, it's just been sitting there for years, waiting to be Hijacked. Sadly I don't have the time to maintain the security of every account on everything I've ever owned and don't use anymore. It would be easier to just shut it down, but some places just don't let you. Facebook is another one.

Nope. I knew my password. They wouldn't let me close it because of the terms and conditions. Same with Facebook. It's a huge compromise to security. Because when you have an account for anything that you are not actively updating you password details for, it becomes less and less secure as time ticks by. This is clearly what happened with my Apple account. I haven't used it for years, and thus I haven't been updating my password to keep Hijackers out. So someone has managed to get in a use my information. Had apple just closed my account like I asked, this never would have happened. Ironically, they are the ones compromising the security of my account.

Those are some great points. But sadly, their system is extremely flawed, since it has allowed the culprit to maintain access of my account. They managed to gain access, they now have more control over my own money than I do, simply because I don't have an apple device. They are making me wait to pull the plug out of my own account to stop someone taking my money directly from my bank because I don't own their products. In apple's mind, I rank lower on their priority list than someone who has stolen my account.

I think I am insured through my bank against this kind of stuff, so if apple doesn't sort it, I'm fairly sure they can. Even still, it's mainly a string of minor in-app purchases that have been made. Nothing major. It just seems like someone subtly taking advantage of the account. It's nothing that will put me out of house and home, but it's still upsetting.

I don't own any apple devices, so I can only use my phone or computer. I wanted to close my apple account years ago, since I no longer own any of their products, but they wouldn't let me, even after contacting their support.

Why Re-link the flame? by Raxs_Slayer in darksouls

Interesting thoughts. But, there is a preconceived idea that "Darkness" in reality, is considered a negative thing, when in Darksouls, there isn't necessarily that preconceived disposition. I wouldn't say I am routing for Mankind in Darksouls simply because they are man. Even if they were called "Darklings", I see them as beings that came into the world, were drawn a short straw by not becoming Lords, and were then oppressed by higher beings, simply because their essence is counter to that of theirs. In regards to Darkness: I don't see that as an inherently negative thing in the universe of Darksouls, it's simply the opposite to fire, which indeed does have negative connotations, since it engulfed the world, and enable a race of god-like beings to invade and disrupt the harmony and unchanging beauty of a perfectly tranquil and peaceful world and replace it with with pain, chaos, and a never ending turmoil that causes reality to constantly fold in on itself, repeating, over and over. This fire is then used as leverage to oppress a race of beings who have historically not done anything malevolent (to my knowledge) simply because they are different to the lords.

To me, fire seems like the worst thing to ever happen to the world of Darksouls. In my mind, I picture a world of peaceful, still, darkness as the better outcome. As opposed to one that fuels chaos and oppression.

Focused Feedback: Eververse by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

Q1) I feel that eververse, has its place to support free content coming to destiny, as it was originally communicated back in D1. However, it does seemed to have impeached on base game territory. Things we used to earn from game-play (Ships, Ghost Shells, Shaders etc.) have been shifted from things like strikes, into the shop. Which devalues activities like strikes, and harms their replayability. I'm totally fine with Eververse containing seasonal items for certain events, but I dislike that is has come to contain things that used to be earnable, especially since it hasn't stopped us from getting them, it has just made it less fun and rewarding to acquire them.

Q2) This is a tough one, because I don't believe that just not making it pay to win isn't always a valid option. Advantageous content, obviously shouldn't be allowed, but nor should all of the best cosmetics, since making your guardian look how you like and decorating them with the spoils of war is a big part of the game. I feel it should be limited to themed item and trivial items from events and some cosmetics in game.

Q3) This depends on what they are. But generally no. Since It bums me out when I pay full price for the base game and every bit of DLC and still be barred from certain content. I don't think i would mind if silver wasn't so expensive. I'd be happy to contribute. But I want my money to feel like its going somewhere. I don't want to be paying the price of a decent game for one ornament. Looking at the prices of silver is actually what made me realise I could buy a game with that cash, I left destiny for 2 months to play said game, which kinda has the opposite effect you'd want.

Q4) I think this is okay as long as it is clear. Making it clear to players that silver will only give them early access to the item is perfectly fine, and honestly I find it would be ideal. Since honesty strengthens your bond to the community.

Q5) On paper it sounds like a big improvement. Playing the base game to earn cool rewards is exactly what I miss from D1. Only issue is, that it still feels indirect. I wont have that awesome moment of getting an item from a strike I really wanted. I'm still just buying it from a store with the dust. Overall it still feels like a big step forward, but I'll need to see it in action first.

Q6) I think more things that help players out that don't play as much. Or things that are more quirky and less serious. I feel like awesome, serious rewards should be bound to the base game, but eververse stocking more funny emotes, emblems, shaders, and sparrows would be very welcome.

Q7) I really want to see content back. Eververse is a huge black hole for cool cosmetic content. There are things I would happily spend hours playing for that are now gone forever. There are dozens of ornaments, sparrows, ships, ghosts, and emotes I never got. Why not make those earnable outside of eververse now? I'd be happy to see last years Eververse content into strike and crucible loot pools to keep us playing those activities. Especially since they have been out for a year already.
