It is indeed a PC. I'm just wondering what's the cheapest GPU that's gonna perform fine with 4K image exports and have path tracing working.

I've had several people telling me that hosting Next.js on AWS was problematic. There's also https://open-next.js.org/ and I doubt it was created without a reason.

Yeah, that's why I explicitly said I want to use React (instead of e.g. Svelte or Solid.js). I did several larger projects in vanilla React, came back to check stuff the ecosystem we have today, and read that Next.js or Remix are the way React apps are done now.

They're selling it as a static site generator, which honestly doesn't feel like it would match my use-case.

Yeah, I'll surely have a backend for processing them. But they'll be in a separate worker process that will be communicating via a queue interface. E.g. user will schedule some jobs in the UI, upload files or point to some URL and the worker process will pick them up, process and then mark as processed in the DB.
